Part 6 -Late-Night Noodles

Author's POV
At 1 am Y/n is thinking about the whole concert, especially about V, how he keeps coming to her side, making eye contact with her. Y/n is blushing and rolling over her bed, hugging her soft toy. Then, suddenly, she remembers something and starts crying, so she calls Mingyu.

Mingyu's POV
I hear my phone ringing. It's 1 AM, and I see Y/n's name on the mobile screen. I pick up the call and hear Y/n crying.

Mingyu: Are you okay? Did something happen? Why are you crying?
Y/n: I forgot to do the registration for the BTS fan meet, Mingyu. I'm such an idiot.
Mingyu: Y/n, you almost gave me a heart attack! I already did it on your behalf. You're crazy
Y/n: Thank you, Mingyu! You're the best! [She starts laughing.]
Mingyu: After talking to you, I'm feeling hungry. It's your fault for waking me up at this hour. Now I need food.
Y/n: Come to my apartment. I'm also feeling hungry, but you're going to cook something for both of us.
Mingyu: Okay, deal. I'm coming.

Mingyu's POV
I wear my shirt and head to Y/n's apartment. I knock, and Y/n opens the door. She's wearing yellow shorts and a black t-shirt. How can someone look this cute at home? I glance around her well-settled apartment; this girl is really something.

Y/n: Water?|
Mingyu: No, thanks, but I would love to have a beer.
Y/n: No beer at this late hour with any boy; my parents strictly told me this. [She starts laughing]
Mingyu: Really?
Y/n: I'm kind of old-fashioned. I'll have a late-night beer only with my boyfriend.
Mingyu: So you're never going to have a beer with me?
Y/n: Of course, we can, but in the evening. Now, don't talk, go and cook something; I'm hungry.

Mingyu's POV
Wow, this girl is truly admirable, how she cares about these small things.

Y/n's POV
I show the kitchen and cooking stuff to Mingyu. He cooks some delicious noodles.

I take the plates and carry the noodle pot to the dinner table. He serves me first, and we both start eating."

Mingyu: So, how is it?
Y/n: It's yummmmyyyyy!
Mingyu: What do you mean by 'yuummmyyy'? [smiling]
Y/n: I mean, it's tasty. I totally love it.
Mingyu: Can I ask you something?
Y/n: Sure, go ahead.
Mingyu: What does your boyfriend do?
Y/n: You can ask me directly; I'm single. But if I were in Korea, the only man I'd consider dating is Kim Tae Hyung." She said while laughing.
Mingyu: I'm not going to ask you out. I don't want to ruin our friendship, so don't get your hopes up. I have another question.
Y/n: You can ask me directly; you don't need to ask for my permission to ask a question.
Mingyu: Okay, I'll keep that in mind. So, what if you don't get a chance to go to a fan meet?

"Y/n became silent for a few minutes before answering, and finally, she says,

Y/n: Of course, I will be sad that I won't get a chance to express my gratitude to BTS and also my love for V. But I am more than happy that I got a chance to go to the BTS concert. My bias gave me a flower; this is more than enough for me. But there's something I really want to share with V.
Mingyu: What are you going to tell them?
Y/n: That's a secret for now.
Mingyu: Okay." [After a pause]Anyway, it's late. I should go to my apartment to sleep."
Y/n: Yeah, thank you for today, Mingyu, and good night.
Mingyu: Good night, sleep well.
Y/n went to sleep, cuddling her soft toy."
