V POV
I walked toward her, my heartbeat racing with every step I took toward her. I had never seen her this way, but looking at her backless dress gave me goosebumps and made me feel hot. I really didn't think I would feel this nervous. This day felt very different; talking to her on a video call had always felt special, but today was exceptionally unique.

Y/n POV
I could hear his steps approaching me, and I really wanted to turn back and look at him, but I felt frozen in place. My heartbeat was racing. Finally, today was the day I had been waiting and dreaming of since the day I discovered BTS. It all felt so unreal. Was I dreaming? All my sadness had vanished.

V POV
In my head, her nervous voice while talking to JK was still echoing. I really wanted her to feel a bit more comfortable. I wanted her to know that she is important to me. I hugged her from behind, locking her in my arms with my chin resting on her shoulder.

Y/n POV
Suddenly, I felt his arms around me, and his chin on my shoulder. My half-naked back could feel his clothes and his warmth. I started to feel a bit more at ease. My heartbeat began to race even faster. I held his hands with mine and stood at ease.

V: Let's stay like this for a while. I'm sorry for making you wait.
Y/n: It's okay.
V: No, let me finish first. I'm sorry for making you wait, but please know this – no matter how many people try to come between us, remember that I will always come back to you at the end of the day. You are now my happiness and one of the most important person in my life.

Y/n's Pov
His words calmed me down. My heart felt at ease. From the evening, so much had been going on in my mind, but I guess this is what I wanted to hear. He was about to lose his grip from me, but I held his hand and stayed close.

Y/n: Can I be a little honest with you but just like this only? [said in low voice]
V: I'm all ears. Go ahead (he said softly).
Y/n: I was a bit scared when I saw the media, especially after having a conversation on the phone with Kookie.
V: Scared about what ?(holding her a little tighter)
Y/n: You are a star. You are an idol, a public figure. Will I be able to handle this?
V: But for me, you are my star. You are more important than anything. But are you still not sure about us ? (Y/n cut him off)
Y/n: I'm worried about you, Tae. How will people react ?(Tae cut her off)
V: Shhh... don't think like that. Let's take one step at a time. Whenever it happens, everyone will understand. The members are okay with us. Other than that, my family and the army mean the most to me, and I know they also want my happiness.

Y/n's POV
What he just said was right. Why am I even caring about anyone else other than his happiness? I am here for us, not for others.

V - Any other doubts, Ma'am? Or may I properly meet my future girlfriend? [his words made her feel shy]
Y/n - Okay, but close your eyes. I am a little nervous.
V - I am equally nervous. You can feel my heartbeat as well. Let's do one thing. Let's both close our eyes and stand in front of each other, and on the count of three, open our eyes.
Y/n - No, no. Well, I invited you on a date, and I have planned things, so you are the one who is going to close your eyes, and I will take you to a particular spot. Then you can open your eyes. I also want to see my future boyfriend first.
