Part 5:Kiss

The next morning I woke up feeling great,I mean why wouldn't I be happy we're staying in Shorehaven.
As I got dressed and did my thing,summer stopped me in the kitchen."Hey" she said
I smiled at her "Hey" I greeted back "I want to ask you something,but be honest with me,okay?" She said,I looked at her confusion written over my face. "Yeah" I said uncertain. "What's going on with you and Bax?" She said wiggling her eyebrows. I felt my face go red. "Nothing." I said trying to hide my smile.
"Don't lie,I'm not blind I can see that something is going on." She said as she had a teasing smile on her face."Fine,I think we're just getting to know eachother.You know." I said "Really that's all?" She asked "I mean I do like him" I admitted "Sky!" She said poking me in my ribs "I don't know,it won't work..." I said looking down at the floor "Why?" She asked in a confused tone.
"Because of his sisters,do you really think they'll be fine with it?" I said looking back at her."Don't let my drama interfere with what's happening with you and bax." She said guiltily "Summer it's not just that.He does everything Elo asks of him.What if she tells him to stop talking to me..." I said with a worried tone. " Sky. Bax wouldn't do that,not even for Elo." She said grabbing an apple as she started walking to the door."See you later!" She shouted "Yeah."

An hour or 2 later I decided I was gonna go for a surf. I grabbed my Surfboard and headed to the beach.
When I got there I was surprised to see there was nearly no one on the beach.
As I got to the sand I start taking of my white dress, already having my bikini on underneath, I put on my long wetsuit.
Pink hair then came into my vision.
I could see bax standing a few feet away from me."Are you here everyday?" I asked getting his attention."Yeah pretty much." He said grinning at me. There was a moment of silence as I finished zipping up my wetsuit."Let's go surf." I said grabbing his wrist gently,tugging him along with me towards the water.
As we were paddling deeper into the water,Baxter was a few feet behind me.
All of a sudden he grabbed the end of by board and dragged me backwards behind him. "Bax!" I said as I caught up to him,him just laughing at me.When I got to him,I got off of my board and slashed him.

Now it was my turn to laugh,but when I calmed down he was standing behind me, he then grabbed my waist making me startle,but then I immediately got red. Him laughing at me as I was trying to hide my face from him. "Are you blushing?" He asked with a teasing tone,as he smirked at me "No I'm not!Stop smirking at me." I said biting my lip to hide my smile,as i gently pushed him back. Just as I was taking my arm away he grabbed it pulling me towards him.
I couldn't stop the butterflies in my stomach.I looked up into his eyes,my eyes shifting to his lips.His doing the same...
"We came here to surf" I said,shit why did I speak. I couldn't stop myself from interrupting what was going on, but why? Maybe I'm still worried about what Elo or Wren would do. "Yeah that was the plan,but then you showed up." He said making me smile. "Bax..."

"Why do you or other people keep interrupting or stopping this?" He asked pointing to me and then him. I sighed.
I could see that his face had confusion written over it."I guess it's a coincidence that people interrupt us." In an annoyed tone that wasn't directed towards him.
"I stop it...Because of your siste-" He stopped me from talking "My sisters? What do you mean?" He said confused "I don't know,I guess I'm scared that they would want to stop it from happening."
I said softly "Why would they do that?" He said quickly wanting to know more.

"Because of the drama between our sisters and cause of your surfing. I feel like she would tell you to stop hanging out with me,so that you could focus or whatever." I said,him just looking at me the confusion turning serious. "Sky,that won't happen. And even if she did that I wouldn't listen to her." He said reassuring me as he took my hands in his "I really like you,Skylar" he said as his eyes looked down to my lips.
He inched his head forward,me doing the same.My heart was beating so fast.
As we were inches apart he stopped looking at me,asking for consent through his eyes.I nodded,almost immediately after, his lips were on mine.

I didn't really know what to do,since I don't have any experience. So bax took the lead,him then kissing me a little deeper. His one hand grabbing my waist as the other cupped my cheek,my own hands finding their way around his neck.
The kiss was slow but passionate,it was perfect.
As we pulled away to take a breath,I looked up at him biting my lip to stop my huge smile. He had this look in his eyes that made me want to scream with excitement.The butterflies never left my stomach. "Wow..." he said as he was looking down at me with a cute smile on his face "Yeah wow" I said as I let out a little laugh. "Well we might aswell get out of the water,it's flat" I said changing the topic before I quite literally drown myself because of the butterflies I'm getting. I grabbed his hand pulling him along with me to shore. I realized that it's become a habit of mine.

When we got to the sand I got out of my wetsuit and changed back into the dress. As I was changing I felt his eyes on me making me nervous. "Can I walk you back home?" He asks out of nowhere.
I looked at him with a teasing smile."You wnat to walk me back?" I said "Yeah." He said,omggg I thought to myself."I would really like that" I said as he smiled and we began to walk.

"You know,I never would've thought you'd be so gentle with like,you know girls" I randomly said. "What do you mean?" He said snickering a little. "I mean like you give of this 'bad boy' exterior,but your so gentle with me." I explained "Yeah,cause I like you" he said boldly. I let out a small laugh ,biting my lip."I like you too" I said.
"Can I tell you something,but like don't laugh, okay?" I said with a nervous smile. "I won't,I promise" he said grinning at me.
"Okay,uh...You were kinda my first kiss." I said in a nervous tone. Slightly feeling embarrassed beacuse he's already had his first everything. As he stopped walking I realized we were at the Gibsons house.
"Well I hope it was worth it" He said smiling at me. "Yeah it really was.Wait, you don't think it's weird... that I haven't kissed anyone before you?" I asked."No,not at all." He said surprisingly cool about this. I smiled at him.
"Thanks for today,I really enjoyed it. I'll talk to you tomorrow?" I said "Yeah...Can I kiss you again?" He asked,I smiled at him and nodded my head.He then put his lips on mine as I returned the gesture. The kiss was short but sweet, and I loved it. I smiled up at him as we pulled away. For a few seconds, we were just admiring eachother. "Bye..." I said starting to walk to the door. "Bye" he muttered still looking in my direction as I got inside.

As I closed the door,my back was against it as I had a huge smile on my face "Ahhhhhh" I whispered,screamed to myself. I can't believe what happened today.

I then heard summer calling me.
I went to the bedroom only to see her smirking at me. "You and Baxter kissed!" She softly yelled in an exited tone.
"Yeah,twice!" I said as excitement overtook all my other emotions.
"That's my girl" She said as we both started laughing. I then told her all the details.
We spent the rest of the afternoon watching funny reels,and dying of laughter together.
I love spending time with summer like this,forgetting about all the drama and problems.I missed it.

Okay so they kissed.
I know its early but listen,I sometimes really don't like slow burners and like this is that time.

But I made it early so that they could like get to know eachother even more and like be cute and then dramaaaa and at the end it will be sad and then cute again,u get me?
