she slams the door once again
the sound of all her frustration
the rain's heavy and she breaks into sobs
as thunder echoes through the clouds

she walks over to the window
witnessing the scenery
a blueish hue hazed throughout
you could just make out the mountain tops

she opens the window
and the crashing of raindrops turn up in volume
a rhythmic pattern that vibrates every wall
harmonizing with the beating of her heart

she weeps out of the window
thinking, "how can this be?"
"how could my life possibly have any meaning?"
and with every tear that rolls down her cheek
is every horrid feeling and moment of despair
stories of life events that have eaten her up inside
every dream that had been a nightmare in disguise

the tears flowed like a river onto the windowsill
continuing on, like everything does
landing on a newly sprouted flower bud

the girl shuts the window and cries some more in her room
but beneath the window, she has no clue what brews
the rain eventually stops
the sky clears
and after a few lonely nights
something new appears

the flower, once curled up with closed doors, has opened up to showcase magnificent color
but when the petals fall, there will be more to discover

the petals turn into wings
and soon a creature appears
more beautiful than any sunset or sunrise
the newborn fae glows bright
and feels love, much bigger than their size

the fae begins to take flight
but before they go
they blow a kiss right through the window

the girl may never know the magic that occurred that day or the power that she holds in every tear that she cries
but right under her nose there are miracles that hide
glowing beams of moonlight
that only show in the darkest of night

in her journey, she won't always know where to go
but with every breath
with every love-filled intent...
a faerie grows
