Pale, porcelain blue
Oh— How I mourn you
Your eyes freshly painted on
Resembling a version of you that has never existed

Mirroring your life without ever being your vision
A stone-cold smile
A glass kiss

They are trying to recreate what the sun did to your skin
In the process, covering what your cries did to your eyes
Is there any soul left to find?

A roughly made outline
Making a mask of what is left of you
Now, you look like a doll...
And you're empty like one too
Where'd you go flying off to?
