_-Geminitay fell out of the world-_
Panic washed over Sausage as he stared at the notification. Sausage looked over to Jimmy who was just staring at the message. He looked like he knew something... "Jimmy... What the fuck is happening?!" Jimmy gripped his communicator. "It's a very long story..." Another groan slipped from Sausage's lips. "I'm going to see why the hell Fwhip isn't here yet."
Before Jimmy could say anything else, Sausage had already left the building. Once outside, Sausage pulled off his breastplate and his wings quickly folded out of his back. A small sigh of relief came from Sausage. After his back stopped hurting, Sausage pushed himself into the air, making his way toward Gobland.
-Time Skip-
As Sausage landed in front of the entrance to the Empire, a weird chill ran down his back. Odd... Sausage quietly walked down the stairs, though for a split second, he thought of flying down into the Empire. After a lot of stairs, Sausage made his way over to where he knew Fwhip would be, the stables. And sure enough, Fwhip was there. It looked like the goblin had been crying their eyes out. What in the world happened...?
Sausage quietly knocked on the wooden entrance of the stables. Sausage watched as Fwhip looked up and panicked when he saw the avian. "Sausage!?! W-why are you here!?!" Sausage scrunched his face, "Well, I'm here for two reasons. The first being that I wanted to make sure you were alright, as you didn't show up for our little meeting between me, you, and Jimmy. The second being Gem fell out of the world, and I was hoping you knew why." Fwhip seemed to stiffen when Sausage mentioned Gem falling out of the world.
Sausage's wings twitched, "How 'bout this, you can tell me what is going on, because something is obviously going on, either now or later. And, if you want we can spend some time together, since we haven't had the time to hang out for a while. Does that sound good?" Fwhip's tail twitched and he quickly nodded. With that, Fwhip quickly got up and led Sausage to his base. "I do really like your place, it's nice and cozy!" Fwhip's tail twitched again and his face started to heat up.
"Now, do you want to tell me what has been going on? Or do you just wanna hang out?" Fwhip looked down and muttered something under his breath. "U-um, just hang out..." Sausage smiled a bit, and that's when an idea came to mind. Without saying anything else, Sausage picked up Fwhip and carried him to the couch. "S-SAUSAGE!! W-WHAT ARE Y-YOU DOING!?!" Sausage laughed a bit. "Well, I remember a specific someone liking cuddles and having their hair played with! So, that's what we are going to do!" Fwhip covered his face with his hands. I can't believe this is happening!!
Sausage sat on the couch, with Fwhip in his lap, and pulled the goblin as close as he possibly could. Fwhip stiffened, but he quickly melted into the hug and his tail started to wave back and forth. Sausage moved his hand up to Fwhip's hair and gently ran his fingers through it. A quiet purring sound slowly started to come from Fwhip's throat. Eventually, Fwhip had fallen asleep. I wonder if... Maybe I could try and walk through his dreams... I mean, I think that's what I've been doing for this whole time... Eh, worth a try, I guess. Sausage repositioned both of them so then they were both lying down. Sausage wrapped his wings around Fwhip's body and slowly but surely started to fall asleep, holding the goblin in his arms. It felt so right...
