Taehyung's pov
At the hospital~

"They burned... his house?" Jihyo noona asked after the doctor told us everything. She was just as shocked at knowing what happened to Daniel hyung as us. I knew those Parks were damn crooked but the whole house? That's fucked up! What's wrong with these people!?

Noona let out a shaky sigh as she asked, "H-How is he now, doctor?"

The doctor looked hesitant, but yet answered, "His head is heavily injured by supposedly a metal rod, but fortunately there is no internal bleeding. His body is bruised in most areas. Those might take some time to heal. And he's cold from rain from who knows how long he's been lying out there."

I frowned with irritation and anger. They are no less than just contract goons! Can they get any lower than this? I'm surprised and relieved Jimin got none their shitty genes! Noona looked devastated. She is doctor herself but who could handle listening about how their loved ones got beaten up. I turned to the doctor and asked, "Can she talk to him?"

"Well, for that you need to state your relationship-"

"I'm his mate." Noona cut off the doctor. At that moment, his face showed an expression of surprise as he just knew that she was her mate. He gestured her to the room, saying, "Ah, sure! Go ahead. He's still unconscious, but you can talk to him."

"Thank you." Jihyo noona said with a nod and went inside with the doctor. As soon as she left Jin hyung spoke, "What do we do now? Hyung's house is burnt, that means the papers we used for keeping Jimin safe is gone too."

"That's not possible! Didn't he keep them at unnie's house?" Namjoon said, but I shook my head, saying, "Nah, he took them with him last minute. Jimin's dad must've found out about it. But I wonder how though? Didn't hyung take them like 2 days ago?"

"Do you think maybe someone snitched on you guys?" Our conversation got interrupted when we heard Hoseok said that. I looked at him in the eye, the first time I give him any attention after I entered this hospital. Why did he suddenly show up at this time!? It better not be for me for some reconciling shit! Ugh, but Daniel hyung was saved because he was there for him, so I shouldn't be complaining too much. I sighed and went past Jin and Namjoon towards Hoseok for a 'talk' not before saying a quick, "I'll be right back."

I held Hoseok's hand and dragged him away with me to the farthest corner of the corridor ever, upto the window. There's lesser people here. "Hey, Taehyu-"

Before he could complete I grabbing his collar without any second thought and yelled, "Hobi, what the fuck are you doing here? Didn't you got that, dance audition coming!"

"Ack- yeah! But it was next week so I thought I could meet you before I go! Tae, stop choking me!"

"Why'd wanna meet me? We're not even dating anymore!"

"Yes, but... I missed you. A-And I wanted to talk to you."

I released my hold on Hoseok with a push. So he's really here to talk. I looked away and said, "There's nothing there to talk. When your mom was yelling and mocking at me, you had nothing to say either."

"Taehyung-ah, I know my mom was rude to you and said really horrible things because you were a Beta. I knew it then, but decided to keep quiet. I should've stood by you and opposed her, Taehyung. I-"

There he goes again! This happens everytime we argue. He just starts off saying all the things he should've done, all for never doing them at all. I can't handle it anymore and cut him off again, "Hobi, you just keep on saying, 'I should've, I should've'. If you really feel the guilt, you should have went against your mom by now!"
