~1 month later~
~third person POV~
"Do you have everything you need?"
"We'll only be gone for a weekend." Crystal laughed, giving Minho her small bag of clothes to put in his car.
"Still. Swimsuit, towel, pyjamas, change of clothes?"
"Yes, Minho. I have everything." Crystal chuckled again.
"Taemin's gift? What did you get for him?" He asked curiously.
"A custom Doraemon mirror with his name on it and a blanket he told me he wanted a few months ago."
"Sweet!" Minho exclaimed. "He'll like them for sure."
"I hope so." Crystal smiled. "What did you get him?"
"Some headphones." Minho shrugged. "He saw them in the store some time ago and said he'd like a pair."
Of course, Crystal found out later that they weren't just "some" headphones. They were a pair of AirPods Max that cost almost 600$. Meant nothing to Minho, but it was her rent for 4 months, and she found it quite amusing how different rich people perceive the world.
Minho opened the car for Crystal, helping her into the passenger's seat, and hopped in next to her, typing an address in the GPS.
"Excited to go?" He asked before starting to drive, and Crystal nodded eagerly. It was the first time she would be going to the seaside. She was invited to Taemin's birthday party at his grandparents' house that was apparently right next to the sea, so not only was she going to have a very nice weekend partying with her friends, but she would also see the sea for the first time, and Minho would be the one to take her, as he promised.

The house was a bit further away from the sea than Crystal thought, much to her disappointment. Just a 15-minute drive away, Taemin said.
It had a pool though, and she and Minho were being shoved to the bathrooms to change in their swimsuits and join the party just as soon as they stepped out of their car.
Taemin didn't invite many people, surprisingly. Crystal was sure he had lots of friends, but apparently, he enjoys 'celebrating just with people I really get along with', in his own words. He invited his group of friends, of course: Jinki and Key were already there; and another two men Crystal didn't know, but later found out were called Kai and Jimin, and he also invited Lydia and Jude, which she was very happy about.
"Girl, welcome!" Jude shouted from the pool as soon as she saw Crystal get out of the house. "You look like a million bucks! Like the Blue Moon of Josephine!"
"What the heck is that?" Crystal chuckled while sitting down on a sunbed next to Lydia.
"Sunscreen?" The girl offered, and Crystal accepted with a nod and took the SPF tube from her hands, starting to squeeze it in her palms and spreading it all over her body.
"A 50-million-dollar stone. You didn't know?!" Jude rolled her eyes. "It's dark blue, like your swimsuit."
"How would she?" Lydia scoffed. "You're the only dumbass who cares about stuff like diamonds."
"Her name is literally Crystal!" Jude retorted. "If I were named Crystal, I would know all about crystals and diamonds and-"
"You know about them either way because you're a materialistic, insufferable and obsessed prick!" Lydia shouted annoyed, making Crystal and Taemin laugh.
"Can you spread it on my back please?" Crystal asked Lydia, giving her the tube, but before her friend could grab it, Minho sat down behind her on the same sunbed and grabbed the tube himself.
