~third person POV~

On Wednesday afternoon, Minho was in the locker room changing into his uniform. He had an important task to accomplish today as the captain of the football team, which was selecting new members who would join this year to train with them, so that they can hopefully become part of the team.

The coach already went through a selection process of choosing potential talent, so now, it was the team's duty to accept or reject the applicants, depending on who would be the best fit for them.

Minho browsed through everyone's files carefully, and eventually, after a few very promising applicants, someone piqued his interest.

Choi Jun, second year.

This might be the guy. Minho thought, and he couldn't stop thinking about what a disgrace it is to share his last name with this piece of crap.

Of course, his last name was fairly usual, but what were the chances?

Anyways, he didn't want to make any mistakes, so he confirmed with Taemin that this Jun and the Jun who hurt Crystal was the same person, and once Taemin assured him it was, Minho started to think of a plan.

He had a personal vendetta against this guy he's never even met, but unfortunately he would have to meet him today.

Unfortunately for the guy, of course.

He couldn't attack him outright, even though he wanted nothing more than to punch him and beat him to a pulp. He had to think of something else.

After getting changed, his other teammates and he made their way to the football field, where all the aspiring players stood straight in a line. The whole team positioned itself in front of the applicants, with Minho in the middle. As the captain of the team, he was the one to talk and ask them all to introduce themselves.

He spotted Jun quickly, who seemed excited that the captain noticed him. He was however not aware that he's been spotted for all the wrong reasons.

He was tall and well-built, Minho noticed, and he looked strong. He had a red scar on top of his left eyebrow, where Crystal hit him. Imagining him trying to force himself on her made Minho sick.

"Hello, and welcome to the field. My name is Choi Minho, and I am the captain of our team. Together with my colleagues, we will be judging your abilities and see if you'd be a great fit. We are looking forward to seeing what you're made of. Best of luck to you all!" He smiled, then turned around and walked with a few of his members towards the benches.

The first few applicants were going to train with some of the members, all the while Minho and the others would observe. Minho, however, decided to be the one who took care of the goalkeepers today, specifically because Jun wanted to join the team as a goalkeeper, and Minho was the best striker his team has ever seen, so the odds were in Minho's favour.

His team's opinion was as valid as his, so, even if he hated Choi Jun with all his being, he had to have a valid reason to reject him, in case his team somehow liked him. He has the chance to personally make sure that guy won't be able to catch the ball even once.

When Jun took his position in front of the gate, Minho stood up and placed the ball on the ground.

"Give me the best you've got!" Jun said proudly with a smirk, and Minho almost chuckled.

"You sure about that, man?" He replied in a threatening tone, which Jun didn't catch. He was just thrilled that the captain shared his name, and looked at him, and was the one who would personally strike the ball to score against him.
