It was just before 3.30 when the mini family arrived back home. They had spent the better half of the day at the park and to say they were all tired would be an understatement. Sylvie was carrying in a sleeping Bella while Matt attended to the picnic blanket and bags. They still hadn't spoken and if Sylvie wasn't so tired, she would start a conversation the second they got through the door, instead she went and laid the young girl in the room to have a nap while she retreated to the couch, landing on it with a appreciative sigh as she turned the tv on low.
Not even two minutes later Matt joined her, having put away the picnic basket and contents with speed so he could join the blonde. They sat there for a few moments in silence. Sylvie had her head leant against the back of the couch with her eyes closed, and if he hadn't been sleeping next to her for the past month he'd think she was asleep. After a minute she spoke, a hint of humour laced in her voice. "Stop staring at me, weirdo."
Matt laughed softly adverting his gaze as he let out a small 'sorry'. He wasn't sorry though, he could stare at her all day if she let him. He was glad that Stella and Kelly weren't due home for another hour and a half, it gave them time to talk. He went to open his mouth to start but she beat him to it.
Her eyes were still closed even as she spoke. "So.... how was the park for you?" She asked, hinting but giving him a way out if he wanted. She could hear his faint chuckle before he spoke.
"It was good, great even. Got to watch Bella play, soak in the sun, kissed a pretty lady..." He drew the last few words out, he turned slightly towards her and as his gaze returned back to watch her face. He wanted to see her reaction to his answer and was pleasantly pleased when he watched the way her lips curled into a smile.
"A pretty girl huh? Well must be both our lucky days, I got to kiss a very handsome man." She replied, her eyes finally opening as she looked at him for the first time since they got home.
They both stared at each other for what felt like ages, each of them waiting for the other to say something or make a move. Slowly Matt got the courage to lean in, and for the second time today, he was kissing Sylvie. This kiss wasn't like the one at the park, this one felt more confident and heated.
They moved together like a well oiled machine. Sylvie turned her head one way while Matt turned his the other, Sylvie placed her hands on his cheeks to cup his face while his hands moved to her hips to pull her closer and they worked well together it was the perfect mix between neat and passionate. Matt's tongue licked her lip, entering the second she allowed it to dominate her tongue which in turn caused her to moan. They knew they were on borrowed time, the chance of being caught by either Bella or Kelly and Stella only spurred them on more. They knew they couldn't keep doing this though so instead they broke apart, both panting slightly as moved back from each other and smiled before returning their attention to the tv they had forgot was on.
Not even 2 minutes later Bella exited her room rubbing her eyes, she walked over and plopped herself right between them on the couch as she curled into Sylvie's side, oblivious to the scene that has acted out only moments before. The couple weren't upset though, they couldn't even keep the smile off their faces as they watched her.
It was like instinct for Sylvie, she wrapped her arms around Bella and pulled her against her, allowing her head to rest on her chest. "Hey sweet girl, how was your nap?" She asked, kissing the top of the brown head of hair.
"Good, I am sad we had to leave the park though." She mumbled, still pressed about the fact they made her leave when she had JUST gotten her turn on the swings again. She didn't care for reason or the fact Matt had already pushed her on them for twenty minutes, she wanted to go again and she made it know.
