It had been 6 months since the Custody investigation and Bella's mom was nowhere to be found little did Matt And Sylvie there were about to get a call that would change there lives forever.
Matt And Sylvie were getting Bella ready for school when Sylvie phone rang.
"It Pam Bella's Social worker Hello"Sylvie Said
"Hello Sylvie just want to let you know the custody investigation is over but unfortunately Bella's Mom doesn't want anything to do with it my great pleasure to tell you that you can adopt Bella congratulations" Pam said
"Thank you that's great news" Sylvie said
"What is it?" Matt asked
"We can adopt Bella her Mother as requisite Custody but her mother as been abusing her" Sylvie said
"She ours" Matt said
"Come on we better drop Bella off at school then get to shift and tell everyone at 51" Sylvie said
Both Matt And Sylvie dropped Bella off at school then headed to shift.
"Morning guys how's Bella" Herrmann said
"Well we have some news so Pam call this morning Bella's social worker and we'll it not safe for her to return home so me and Matt are adopting her" Sylvie said
"Congratulations" Herrmann Said
"You two make a perfect little family" Kidd said
"Which is why we're looking for our own place Bella needs a bigger room don't worry Kelly Stella the apartment will be in the same block" Matt said
"Actually same building" Sylvie Said
"Yeah we got the apartment next door to you it 2 bed 2 bathrooms" Matt said
"Brett Casey I just heard your news congratulations DCFS just called asking for an reference for the adoption" Boden said
"Well this calls for a celebration Molly's tomorrow night 50% off all drinks" Herrmann said
"Oh guys so me and Sylvie have been talking we are getting Married in a few weeks because we want Bella to have our last name Casey her new full name will be Bella Grace Casey" Matt said
"Yeah that what we want we want to be a proper family" Sylvie said
"Well I will tell you this that little girl is lucky you two saved her it thanks to you two she will be in a better home with two parents who love her unconditionally" Herrmann said
What Matt And Sylvie were doing for that little girl is great she was now in a home where she would be loved.
