Sylvie's Birth Mom

Sylvie was 20 weeks pregnant and she had received some Family news her Birth mother was seeking contact.

At first Sylvie had been ignoring the adoption intermediary blocking his phone calls and ignoring his Emails the guy turn up on day at shift and handed the letter she was shocked so handed the letter to Matt to throw away.

He didn't do it and when she changed her mind he had kept the letter safe for her she opened it and she lived in Rockford.

Next shift rolled around and it was a busy for Ambo 61 Sylvie had been in and out of the house all day with barely a minute to spend with her husband.

"How many calls is that today?"Matt asked

"I lose count"Sylvie said

"Mercy in retrograde it's a thing" Foster said

"You've been running around all day but I wanted to asked did you reach out to your birth Mom" Matt said

"I have picked up the phone a few times first impressions are so important and I want to make right on I think it better to speak in person" Sylvie said

"The right is whatever works for you you have her address right Rockford isn't that far away" Matt said

"Dinner's up" Cruz said

"Thank god I'm starving we eaten a the Med venting machines for lunch" Sylvie said

Ambulance 61 person down unknown causes

"Well put some aside for you guys" Matt said

And with Sylvie and Foster drove to a address near 51 itself that was the first time all day Matt and Sylvie had more than 30 seconds together.

The call was to an OD at first it seems like on kid had OD but it turns 2 other kids had to Sylvie called for two additional ambulances and a squad unit to help with forced entry and Squad 3 were for ones that responded.

When 61 got back to the firehouse Sylvie and Foster headed to the common room she sat on the sofa and Matt got her food out of the fridge and place down in front of her.

"Thanks babe first time I have sat down all day" Sylvie said

"Cruz told us what happened" Matt said as he sat down next to his wife

"There were just kids stupid reckless kids" Sylvie said

"You saved two lives tonight try to focus on that so when you were talking before about you birth Mom if you don't want to get into I completely understand" Matt said

"No it okay I even spilled to Foster and Kids sorry what where you going to say" Sylvie said

"If your thinking about meeting her in person I been happy to drive down to her place in Rockford we could take Bella I know you can handle it solo I just it might help to have Buddy" Matt said

"That would be amazing thanks" Sylvie said

Sylvie could see Matt was trying to support her though this because he was loving caring person it seems as it was coming to towards the end of shift the Ambulance gods had decided that Sylvie and Foster had enough calls outs.

End of shift and Matt and Sylvie were going to pickup Bella from Cindy's and take a trip up to Rockford.

The drive up to Rockford was quite on Sylvie was talking about when she was younger and imagined her parents were British royals when she had a bad case of Disney's princess fever.

Bella was doing her colouring in on the back seat when they got to Julie 's house Matt wished his wife good luck while he and Bella stayed in the car.

Sylvie was surprise to see it was Julie's Husband Scott who opened the door and told her Julie didn't live there she when back to the car and the three of them drove home.

Next shift rolled around and Julie turned up at the firehouse and told Sylvie what happened she also revealed she was pregnant and Sylvie told her she was pregnant then they got a call out.
