Morrowseer was just...humongous. I knew he was big, but seeing him in real life was terrifying. He landed into the center of the arena with a force that sent fierce vibrations through the sand. Clay and I were standing in front of him under the royal balcony. Tsunami and Starflight stood over by the side. Tsunami was pretty steamed as the massive dragon walked around like he owned the place. Starflight on the other hand, was relieved to see one of his kind come to, hopefully, rescue all of them. The Icewings were still in chains held by Skywing guards and spread along the sides of the arena. They frantically looked at Morrowseer and his lackeys that circled overhead, casting bat-like shadows over the arena. Gill was over to the other side, lying on the floor. I'm pretty sure Clay was thinking of cows, while I was panicking. My innate human instinct to get away from giant monsters was triggering my flight response with no mercy.

Each of Morrowseer's talons were about my size, in height and width, and dug deep into the sand as he trotted closer to the royal balcony. His maw could fit three men my size inside, and the smallest fang in his mouth was as large as my knife. Both of his wings were like two billboards, displaying a vivid picture of the night sky. I was lucky to survive a hit from Tsunami's tail, but if Morrowseer were to smack me I would be folded in half, sent flying into the wall, and left as a stain on the stone. His snout was level with the two royal dragons who looked back at him with contempt and annoyance. He looked back in his haughty, pompous, stereotypical Nightwing spirit.

Have you ever seen that one scene in "The Hobbit" where Bilbo meets Smaug? Well call me Gandalf, cause I would just ditch this scene and not show up for a couple of chapters if I could. But of course, I am not a wizard and this is not a book.

I had to settle for cowering under Clay and clinging to his foreleg like a child. Clay looked down at me concerned, "Are you ok?"

"No, not really. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine."

Morrowseer spoke to Scarlet demanding to take Starflight and leave, Scarlet was none to happy about this, "He is not yours to take, we found these dragonets with some Talons of Peace revolutionaries, and no they are prisoners of war. Only fit for my arena. But why should you care? The Nightwings aren't allying with the Talons, are they? Does this mean you've finally come out of your holes and chosen a side?"

Burn butted in with a angry snarl, "Why have you chosen to side with an underground movement, instead than a real queen?"

He answered back with a huff, "Nightwing business is none of your concern. We'll take our dragonet and leave. Do not resist."

"You have no authority to come into my kingdom and make threats! Why don't you crawl back to your rock and bring your mystery queen here so we can discuss this like civil dragons."

"Don't anger the Nightwings. I won't say this again. Let us have our dragonet."

Tsunami yelled angrily at Morrowseer, "What about the rest of us!"

Clay was wondering the same thing, "We're over here! Dragonets of Destiny!"

Morrowseer just ignored them and looked at Scarlet awaiting a response.

Clay was flabbergasted, "Can't he see us, why isn't he doing anything?"

I chimed in to ease his mind, "Well, maybe he knows the prophecy will be fulfilled just fine. He was the one who made it. Maybe he needs Starflight for something."
