Hanasita, Suzuka, Suzuki, and Sanada were all at one of the games. Suzuka was glaring at Sanada, Suzuki was busy eating her dangos, boys were fighting over who would win Hanasita a prize, and Sanada watched Hanasita. She was lucky.
"Now that's pretty privilege," Suzuka said as they continued walking.
Hanasita held her gifts close. There was so much that Suzuki had to hold some. "You're just jealous that I'm better than you," she teased.
"No, I'm not!" Suzuka said with a blush.
Sanada smiled at them, but then her attention was on her parents. She stopped as she stared at them. A man was talking to them and Sanada could tell something was wrong when Sarada clasped a hand over her mouth. Boruto ran passed her and the man, Himawari and Kawaki following suit.
"Sanada-chan?" Hanasita stopped when she saw what was happening.
"What's happening?" Suzuka inquired, walking over to the Hokage, the others following.
"Mom... Why did Dad and that just run off?" Sanada inquired.
Sarada looked at Hanasita with tears in the corner of her eyes. "The mission Sumi-chan was sent on... She was ambused..." Sarada trailed off.
"...What...?" Hanasita muttered. She took a step back, looking horrified at Sarada. She dropped everything she was holding. She ran off.
"H-Hey, Hana-chan!" Suzuka shouted, reaching out, but Hanasita was already out of reach. She angrily turned to Sanada and Sarada. "This is all your fault. You shouldn't have sent Sumire-san on a mission," Suzuka accused.
"Zuka-chan, I don't think you're supposed to talk like that to the Hokage... And anyway, it was Sumire-san's choice to go on the mission. Um, she's a strong ninja, I'm sure she'll survive," Suzuki said, but Suzuka ignored her.
"If I wasn't going after her, I'd give you and you a piece of my mind!" Suzuka said, grabbing Suzuki's wrist and running where Hanasita had ran off to.
"Zuka-chan, you can't just say that to the fricking Hokage!" Suzuki said, letting herself be dragged by her close friend.
"Well, I did!" Suzuka snapped. Suzuka's eyes widened when she saw Hanasita up ahead. "Hana-chan!" she shouted, running over, Suzuki in tow.
Hanasita didn't stop. "Leave me alone right now! I have to find my mom!" she said.
Suzuka looked Hanasita in the eyes. "Hana-chan... We're not trying to stop you, we're coming with you..." Suzuka said, making Hanasita stop dead in her tracks.
"You're... what?"
"We are?" Suzuki whispered to Suzuka, who sighed in annoyance.
"Of course! Hana-chan's one of our closest friend and Sumire-san was like a second mother to me. I dunno about you, but for me, it's already set in stone," Suzuka said. The two girl's attention was now on Suzuki. "In or out?"
Suzuki shuffled her feet in the ground. Sumire was always nice to her. Suzuka was right... She was like a second mom. But what if they were too late? What if this enemy's someone they can't handle? But Boruto and the others were on their way. They'd probably get in the way.
Looking back up at her friends, who were staring expectently at her, she nodded. "Okay!"
A wide smile was brought to the girls' faces upon hearing this. Hanasita and Suzuka high fived. "All right!" Hanasita exclaimed. "Let's go!"
Sanada grabbed ahold of her mom's kimono sleeve as Hanasita's team ran off into the distance. "W... What do we do?"
Sarada bent down to her height, placing her arms on her shoulders. "You continue to enjoy the festival. Find your friends or something. I'll deal with this, and then I'll give your father a piece of my mind for running off," she said, standing up.
It's not like I have friends. How can I when you're the fucking Hokage? Sanada mused as she watched Sarada run off to where the girls went. She gripped the hem off her kimino. Fuck this. She ran after her mother.

Himawari, with her Byakugan, was able to see where Sumire would've ended up. She gasped upon seeing what was up ahead. She clasped a hand over her mouth.
"What?" Kawaki asked.
"It's like a blood bath..." she muttered.
The boys' eyes widened as they approached the area. There, they saw so many dead bodies, but Sumire's was no where to be found. They began calling as Himawari walked to the cliff, looking at the raging sea below.
"Nue!" Boruto shouted, running to Sumire's summoning, who was in bad shape.
"She's definitely been here, then. But she'd never leave Nue here," Kawaki said.
"Mom!?" Hanasita's voice spread through the battle field.
"Hana-chan, what are you doing here!?" Himawari shouted.
Suzuki grabbed hold of Hanasita's sleeve, hiding behind her as Suzuka looked horrified. Hanasita didn't move or answer. When she saw Nue, she feared the worst.
"What the heck happened here!?" Sarada shouted as she arrived.
"Holy..." Sanada perked up.
"Sanada!?" Boruto shouted. "You brought kids here!?"
"I never intended to! Hanasita and that just ran off after you lot and I went after them, and Sanada, I guess, followed me!" Sarada furiously turned to her only daughter. "You were supposed to stay at the festival!" she scolded.
"And what!? Be bored!? You said hang out with my friends, but Hana-chan's my only friend! How do you expect me to make friends when they all think I'm a spoiled Mommy's girl, being the daughter of the Hokage!?" Sanada admitted.
Hanasita broke down crying. "I shoulda never trusted you, you stupid Hokage. You sent her on this mission! You sent her to her death!" she sobbed.
"Hey now, we don't no for sure if she's dead or not," Suzuki reasoned.
"If we're getting everything off of our chests, then I don't like you!" Suzuka shouted, pointing a finger at Sanada. "You're a self-centered bitch who thinks she's oh so perfect all 'cause your mom's the fucking Hokage! You say that shit, but I bet you're feeling like you're superior to everyone here!"
"I never wanted to be a ninja... I only did it because Hana-chan was a ninja! I never wanted this!" Suzuki admitted.
"I only put up with Sarada-chan because she's engaged to Onii-chan. I thought she was nice and friendly, but now, her whole presence is pissing me off! This is all her fault, after all! Some Hokage you are," Himawari said.
"I only got engaged to you because of Sanada. You knew about my feelings towards Sumire-chan, yet you make me drink and then get pregnant, then make me propose to you for your own selfish desires," Boruto spoke up.
He... and Mom only got engaged because of me...? But Mom said Dad loves us both very much and that he sometimes visits her when I'm sleeping... Was that all a lie? Sanada felt tears sting her eyes.
"If everyone's confessing, I don't like any of you," Kawaki said as everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at him.
"We already knew that," Boruto plainly said.
Suddenly, everyone began talking over each other, shouting. Hanasita sobbed, Sanada dried her tears, Suzuki comforted Hanasita, Suzuka joined in the shouting, and the adults basically pointed accusing fingers at each other.
"ENOUGH!"
