Josh's P.O.V
Emily and I got married two weeks after I proposed to her in my office. A year after that we decided to adopt our son Chris. When Cris was eight we had an unexpected surprise, thus our daughter Mia was born. Ten years down the road from all of that Emily and I are still as happy as the day we got married.
"Mia took my Xbox controller!" I shut my computer and waited for the inevitable. "Mia leave your brother alone! You all need to get in here for dinner anyway!" I got up and went to the dinner table to eat with my family. "How did you do on your history test?" Emily asked Mia while passing Chris the platter of chicken. "I got an A" we continued the casual dinner conversation while eating until the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" Chris said jumping up from the table.
Emily's P.O.V
"There was a box for mom!" Chris said setting a long box in front of me. I opened the box and pulled out a long stem blue rose. Josh gave a concerned look, I pulled out the card that came with the rose.
