*Ring Ring Ring*
I open my eyes, drowsy, and it costs me a lot of effort but finally i manage to do it. I stand up, still half asleep and open the curtains in front of my window.
I can see our frontyard with the pretty tulips my nature-loving sister planted a few months ago, now it's finally blooming season! But not just for the tulips, it's also time to shine to me, because today is my first day of college.
I've already packed my stuff, not that there are much clothes to pack since i threw all of my soft girl aesthetic clothes in the trashcan, i really have to go shopping in the big city where my college is located and where i will stay for the next few months.
I have to admit, I'm so exited to finally make new, cool friends! And i hope I'll get a popular roommate, not a boring nerd like i used to be.
I put on a white-blue crop top, black baggy jeans and my dad's black and white checkered shirt, i apply some concealer to hide my eye bags, blue eyeshadow because it matches my greyish blue eyes and lipgstick in my favorite nude shade, but when i tried the viral tiktok eyeliner, i completely fucked it up.
>> Line, come down, it's breakfast time! <<
I hear my mom calling me by my nickname (which i really dislike) from downstairs. I sigh annoyed and try to wipe the huge black stream of my eyeliner on my eye lid away.
After being done, i quickly rush down and make myself a chocolate granola cereal, while my sister, my brother and my parents are waiting for me impatiently.
>> Are you exited, sweetie? << My mom asks. >> Yeah, kinda<< I respond. >> Believe me Madeleine, College is the best what happened to me and it will also an unforgettable experience for you <<
Of course my brother is saying this, he was the football captain, every girl had a crush on him and he looked cool, with well styled blonde hair everytime. He was and still is the most popular person i know, and i want to be like him.
My sister is different, she loves baking and writing and is really into the Japanese culture and studies Japanese at the moment, she's also planning to study one semester in Tokyo and is really excited. You see, we are very different since I'm looking forward to be an it-girl now.
We quietly finish our breakfast, i rush to my room to get all my stuff and make sure not to forget my hair straightener because without that my brunette long hair looks like a birds nest.
Wheezing, I try to carry my heavy suitcases and bags in our car, but then my dad helps me.
>> Damn, are you carrying stones in here? <<
He asks sarcastically.
>> How did you find out? <<
I answer with a slightly smirk on my lips.
My dad laughs and i hug my sister for goodbye, then i get into the car and we're driving to my next months home.
