If you are familiar with my work, you know I pretty much only write about nearly intolerable anti-hero female leads.
Yes: she is a bad friend
Yes: she is entitled
Yes: she is toxic 😭
But there will be character development and self-awareness with her actions. I will not romanticize a bad person (fear not).

NO: there is not a love triangle
NO: there is no cheating

Content:

I am going to put a MASSIVE TW for everyone who will get uncomfortable with talking about EDs, self-harm, drugs, alcohol, etc.

I am writing this while in recovery, so often times I use Simone's character to vent out some of my own thoughts and frustrations. This book, however, is NOT PRO-ED. Recovery is worth it, a happier life is worth it.

As much as I love romance, a large part of this book will be Simone's recovery and character development so there may be chapters I don't mention the ML at all!

I'm writing this disclaimer before I properly finish the book and rough draft, but a happy ending is not guaranteed.
