The first challenge for the second year Sports Festival.... An obstacle race.
"Of course the first event is one that my quirk is completely useless in!" Daichi groaned.
Haso let out a sigh of agreement, saying "If only we could get some tech...."
The two had a brilliant idea. Running over to the stands, he looked up to see-
"Peinta!" The two both screeched, seeing Peinta drinking a soda.
The girl had inky black hair, part of it covering one of her eyes, the rest tied into a high ponytail. A cream colored complexion, the girl's dark grey eyes scanning over them. The girl's eyes looked like they had a black eyeshadow on them, a result of her quirk, and her nails were the same color of black.
"Hey boys~" Peinta waved.
"Peinta, help us out here! We need to know if there'll be any tech in this race!" Daichi all but begged.
Peinta sighed, black tongue running over her lips.
"Okay okay...."
She cracked open another soda, drinking the bright green liquid quickly. She crushed the can in her hand, flicking a small splash of ink towards their feet, quickly appearing there after.
(Name: Peinta Rakuga
Quirk: Ink)
.
The students of 2A gathered.... Their plan wasn't perfect, but it was something.
"GOOOOOO!" Yamada screamed through the speakers.
All at once, students struggled to get through the space. A few students gasped, a bright green liquid flowing past their legs, moving to the front. The liquid solidified, Peinta smirking.
"Hoka, it's on you!" She called out, throwing the girl a vial.
From the other end, Hoka tried to grab the vial, but the thing slipped past her. Haso caught it, the 2A ten all rushing over to him.
"Peinta, do it!" He shouted.
She snapped her fingers, the vial of ink exploding, black goo wrapping around the nine remaining students. A swirl of black ink appeared in front of Peinta, the girl running ahead to catch up to the other students.
"Damn it.... Let's move!" Hoka said, rushing off.
Tsuyoshi grinned, two silver scaled dragon wings coming from his back. With a flap of the wings, he was already gliding past Hoka and Peinta.
"Sucks to suck, ladies!" He taunted, flying ahead.
Hibana shrugged, simply just running after his fellow students.... And then Present Mic announced the next obstacle.
"AND FOR OUR NEXT OBSTACLE, WE HAVE:"
Peinta froze, looking at what laid ahead of her.
"PAINTBALL BLITZ!"
Mechanical robots fired paintball guns at them, Peinta and the others dodging the paintballs carefully. Daichi grinned, slapping his hands on a few of the robots, Haso doing the same. All at once, around a dozen of them gained blue and green lenses, the guns turning towards the other students.
"Fire at will!" Daichi ordered.
The robots began to shoot the other students, slowing them down as they ran. Haso couldn't help but stare at the chaos that Daichi had caused.
"You know, you're probably one of the most chaotic people on our team."
"Why thanks good sir!" Daichi responded.
The two felt themselves get lifted, Bouran's eyes glowing red at the use of her quirk.
"Save the flirting for another time!" She groaned, using her increased speed to carry them away.
"WE AREN'T FLIRTING!" The two both screeched.
*After the race....*
The 2A ten all panted, Daichi doing his best to get air back into his lungs.
"I.... Hate.... The race!" He breathed out.
"Don't tell me you're already out of breath?"
The students all looked up to see Aizawa approaching. The man looked calm, despite the obvious bandages that covered him.
"Aizawa-sensei, hi!" Yukiko said cheerfully.
Aizawa waved at her, before continuing.
"You ten have fought through all of my training and challenges. If this little competition is enough to make you submit, then don't even bother showing up to class later."
*Later on....*
The students all readied themselves as Midnight spun the wheel.... So trust and believe that when it landed on 'Trap Tournament', nearly all the second year students either panicked or got really excited.
"Oh lord.... The Trap Tournament." Midnight hissed. "So, the rules for this are simple! You each form teams of four, and must survive onslaught after onslaught of traps, tricks, and weaponry! There are five rounds or 'waves' as you may call them, each with it's own challenge or trick!"
After that explanation, the students all split up....
"Tsuyoshi.... Join our group." Daichi said, pointing behind him to Yukiko and Hoka.
"Gladly! This'll be so much fun- just imagine the chaos!" Tsuyoshi responded, an excitement in his voice.
"Alright.... So who's gonna carry us into battle?" Hoka questioned.
Tsuyoshi's eyes lit up. He gestured for them to give Home some space, before beginning his transformation. His height began to increase, silver scales covering his body, his hands gaining large white claws. Two large dragon wings spread from his back, sliver gleaming off of his scales, his pupils becoming slits, sparks of electricity coming from his maw. Letting out an intimidating roar, thirty foot tall silver dragon now stood in Tsuyoshi's place.
".... Damn it, they got to Tsuyoshi first." Toki complained.
Aizawa was grinning like a mad man from his spot in the announcers booth. He fucking knew that they'd do it. None of his students have ever failed him before, they wouldn't start now.
Once it was announced that the event had begun, Tsuyoshi flew up, carrying the others on his back, Hoka shouting "IT'S OVER STUDENTS, I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND!"
*Elsewhere...*
In an old apartment somewhere in Hosu, a woman with flowing black hair stared in surprise at the event. Her eyes widening as she saw the students.
"He.... Actually did it."
The woman smiled, feeling pleased at the events that took place.
"That's my boy.... Perhaps it's time for me to come to Nezu for a visit, I'm sure the rat would just love to see me stop by for a visit.... And Daichi may also enjoy it."
The woman tied her hair into a ponytail, part of it covering one of her emerald colored eyes.
She had a Festival to go and watch.
