"Hey, hey. Does that mean last night's noise was from a sphere falling?" So-yun questioned, walking away from the classroom windows and over to the class.

"Gosh, shit..."

"Class 3-3's kids said the gym building was destroyed," Yeon-ju said.

"That's it."

"Hey, if it's enough to destroy a building, doesn't it mean the shock from it is crazy?" Hui-rak asked. There were some nods of agreement. Hui-rak surprised them all by jumping to his feet and shouting, "Whoa!" Several people shrieked.

"Gosh, what the hell?" Jun-hi seethed.

"Hey."

"Gosh, seriously..."

"You're so annoying!" Jun-hi shouted, jumping to her feet and smacking Hui-rak across the face.

"Daebak!" several people gasped. Other people's jaws dropped. Ha-na and So-chul grinned and others laughed.

"Hey, change seats with me!" Jun-hi demanded. In-hye quickly got out of Jun-hi's seat. So-chul and Ha-na imitated the two's actions again. So-chul held his hands up to Ha-na, who pretended to slap him. The pair laughed and reversed roles with So-chul pretending to hit Ha-na. The others broke off into groups, still discussing last night's events. Na-ra got out of Yu-jeong's desk, returning the girl's seat to her. She lingered by (Y/n), watching her intensely. She didn't want to sus (Y/n) out or push her away, but she still was quite suspicious as to why (Y/n) was gone so long.

"Hey, (Y/n), what were you saying last night?" Yeong-shin called. The class perked up, glancing at (Y/n)'s seat. (Y/n) tore her eyes off the partially opened door that was calling her name and glanced at Yeong-shin. What had she talked about? Everything seemed so blurry in comparison to her being attacked. "So-chul asked if you heard anything before Sun-yi dragged you away."

"Oh! Oh..." (Y/n) murmured. Yeong-shin sent her a sharp look and the rest of the class leaned forward with anticipation. "Well, I wasn't too sure if it was related at the time, but Doh So-chul asking about the crash kind of made me put two and two together. After Yeong-hun and I left the infirmary—"

"Infirmary?" Jang-su interrupted.

"Hey, Jo Jang-su!" Jun-hi seethed, upset the story was interrupted.

"I thought someone would have told you already," (Y/n) said. The three boys involved in last night's incident left it on (Y/n) to say something as they didn't want to say something contradictory and get caught in their lie. "Anyways, after left, we wanted to go investigate the sound, but we ran into Platoon Leader—"

"Platoon Leader?!" So-yeon repeated, jumping to her feet. "You saw him last night?" She rushed over and clasped (Y/n)'s right hand in both of her own.

"Stop interrupting!"

"Gosh, I bet he looks good in grey sweatpants..." So-yeon murmured. (Y/n) covered her mouth with her left hand.

"No way," Bo-ra gaped, looking at So-yeon in disbelief over the girl's dedication to a man she had hardly known for twenty-four hours.

"He would, wouldn't he?" (Y/n) agreed.

"That's our platoon leader!" Yu-jeong cried in dismay.

"He was in his uniform, though," (Y/n) mused. So-yeon pouted and slumped a bit.

"Bet he sleeps in it," Jun-hi muttered, making some of the others laugh and nod in agreement. So-yeon scowled in her direction, resulting in Jun-hi looking away in feigned innocence.

"Hey, don't interrupt her, So-yeon," Yeong-shin frowned. "Continue, (Y/n)—"

"To your seats!" Ms. Park hollered as she came into the room. She misread the situation as the others harassing (Y/n) for answers regarding the crash last night. Yeong-shin shook his fist with halfhearted fury at So-yeon. (Y/n), meanwhile, was busy wondering how she would be able to write with the large cut across her left hand. She could try to write with her right hand, but there was no way her characters would be clear. She could ask someone else to write her notes for her, but she would never actually do that. So, she opted to just suffer through it when the time came.
