"Wait, wait, wait! Put me down," (Y/n) ordered, repeatedly tapping Il-ha's arm. The boy obliged without question and (Y/n) strode right into the area where Bo-ra had just finished getting her haircut."Okay," Deok-jung mumbled, smoothing out Bo-ra's hair before removing the cape. "All done." Bo-ra combed down her hair, checking herself out. The mournful group, upset for the loss of Bo-ra's hair, looked quite impressed with the outcome.
"Yeon Bo-ra, look at you," Il-ha mused.
"Kim Deok-jung, you're rather good," Bo-ra praised.
"I'd say. Compliments to the barber," (Y/n) agreed. Bo-ra smiled at her through the mirror. "If you're up for it, would you trim my bangs?" she asked. Deok-jung nodded dutifully. Bo-ra stepped aside to allow (Y/n) the room to sit down. Deok-jung got the cape around her. It was cute easy to part (Y/n)'s overgrown bangs from the rest of her hair. He used the closed scissors to make sure the line was clean. (Y/n) closed her eyes to avoid getting hair in them as Deok-jung started trimming her bangs, keeping the same shape she already had: One that would allow her to wear front bangs and curtain bangs depending on how she styled them. "Oh, and if it isn't too much, would you cut my hair to my shoulders?" Deok-jung was so caught off guard by the question that he accidentally snipped a piece of hair not a part of the girl's bangs. He fixed it quickly by turning it into a framing piece and replicating it on the other side.
"S-Seriously?" Deok-jung stammered.
"(Y/n)!" Jun-hi gaped. "You love your hair!" (Y/n) opened her eyes, peering at the others through the mirror now that her bangs were trimmed.
"It's so long and pretty..." Yeon-ju murmured, reaching out as though stroking (Y/n)'s hair.
"I don't know where my dead-ends... end," (Y/n) shrugged.
"N-Not that short, that's for sure!" Ha-na said quickly. (Y/n)'s hair was her favorite to style and she knew well that she couldn't do half the styles she normally did if the girl's hair was shorter.
"It still would look nice," Na-ra insisted, backing (Y/n)'s decision immediately.
"I'd rather try something and dislike it than not have tried it at all," (Y/n) added. "Go ahead." Deok-jung blinked before getting a piece of (Y/n)'s hair over her shoulder.
"Here's good?" Deok-jung asked, pinching the hair where he would cut it. (Y/n) nodded and Deok-jung raised the scissors to cut.
"N-No!" Chi-yeol yelped. (Y/n) blinked, looking at him. They all stared questioningly at the boy.
"What the heck, Kimchi?" Jun-hi frowned. While ultimately against (Y/n)'s decision, she at least respected it was (Y/n)'s choice to make. "Who are you to say no?"
"I... Well, she's pretty just the way she is," Chi-yeol smiled. "It's a waste." Jun-hi smiled sarcastically and the other girls were on immediate defense.
"You think a haircut's going to change that?" Bo-ra asked, crossing her arms.
"Exactly. Who are you to feel it's a waste?" Jun-hi challenged. Ha-na nodded in agreement.
"I'm against it, too. Her current hair suits her," So-chul blurted. They then all stared at him as he smiled warmly at (Y/n).
"So would short hair," Il-ha countered, looking as though he was living for the shift in atmosphere. "Besides, she always wears it back anyway."
"So-chul, which hairstyle suits me?" Ha-na asked sweetly.
"I don't know. Everything does," So-chul said dismissively.
"Don't be like that," Ha-na smiled. "Which hairstyle." Jun-hi held up her fist, mouthing Ha-na off.
"Hey, floating is a habit, too," Bo-ra mused.
