The prisoners and two girls looked up as the other seven kids came running right in, their footsteps heard before they were even seen."Aigo, you came so quickly, right?"
"A-Aigo, your friends are here," said the white-haired man, holding Ae-seol down as she tried to get up and run. The group eyed them grimly.
"Jang-su," Yeong-shin whispered. The two boys had to force themselves into it, but they ran forward and pushed the gate closed.
"What are they doing?"
"What the fuck are they doing?" The prisoners ran to try and stop the boys, but Yeong-shin hastily turned the lock and withdrew the keys. "Hey, you motherfucker!"
"These assholes, do they not understand the situation?" seethed the prisoner with slicked-back hair, dragging (Y/n) with him by the wrist.
"Let's go together if we're at war," the white-haired man said. "Say hi to your friends." He had Ae-seol wave at the group.
"Do you not understand your place, you assholes?" snapped the prisoner with slicked-back hair, shoving (Y/n) to the ground. The others flinched, tensing in fear for the girls. Regardless of their anger for the situation, their friends were still behind bars and they were outside and mostly safe.
"Let them go first," Jang-su ordered.
"Open the door first, you fucker."
"I'll open it if you let them go!" Jang-su shouted.
"Hey, open it first then. Your friend will die otherwise, okay?" said the leading prisoner, holding Ae-seol's gun to her forehead. "She'll really die, okay?" The kids remained unmoving, shameful for being unable to do anything but also not willing to put themselves so carelessly into danger. Yeong-shin glanced down at (Y/n), whose eyes were roaming all over the area as well as the prisoners. By that point, he knew better than to doubt (Y/n)'s ability to escape difficult situations. "Fuck, there she goes again," huffed the leading prisoner. "Hey, kneel down," he ordered Ae-seol. When she didn't move, he kicked the back of her leg, sending the girl falling to the ground. The kids flinched again and even the prisoners sucked their teeth as though pained. "She's going to die because of you. Don't you care, huh?
"She'll really die, all right?" chuckled the youngest prisoner. Bo-ra stared at him before raising her gun and aiming at him.
"She's not a friend," Bo-ra stated. She then pointed the gun at the prisoner with slicked-back hair, who was standing too close to (Y/n) for her liking.
"That fucking bitch, she better stay still."
"You guys pull up your guns, too," Bo-ra told the other kids.
"Bo-ra," So-yun said fearfully.
"We have seven guns, while they have one," Bo-ra stated.
"Don't you see that Ae-seol's got a gun to her head?" So-yun snapped. Bo-ra turned her gun onto the leading prisoner, who was amused. Yeong-shin was the first to move, holding up his gun. The others quickly joined him and Bo-ra in aiming at the prisoners.
"Hey, do you want to see your friend being killed?" the leading prisoner hollered.
"I told you, she's not my friend!" Bo-ra said, not missing a beat with denying it. "What kind of friend does as she pleases to put her friends in danger?" Ae-seol looked down shamefully.
"Yeon Bo-ra, calm down first," Jang-su said calmly.
"Bo-ra said the right thing," Yeong-shin defended. "There's no need to compromise with criminals."
