Chi-yeol and Hui-rak rushed to close the doors the two of them, Yeon-ju, (Y/n), and So-yeon were in. They closed it right as the Cell came flying through the fireplace and at their door. Chi-yeol reached up and locked it, but both boys were still leaning against the doors. Yeon-ju hugged (Y/n) for dear life, almost preventing the girl from breathing. They were slightly relieved as the Cell stopped ramming into their door, but they were still worried for their friends as they could hear the thumps that came with the Cell hitting the other group's doors.Inside the other room, Yeong-shin and Tae-man were the two holding the doors closed. They couldn't have been more grateful for the doors being metal as, with how hard the Cell was hitting the doors, any other material would have given away by then.
"What do we do?" So-yeon anxiously as the group of people in her room. Yeon-ju and (Y/n) went over to comfort her.
"Don't worry," Yeon-ju assured.
"The windows!" Jang-su said to his group. He rushed over to one of the windows to check the stability of the grate. So-chul hurried to do the same.
"Yeon-ju, check the other window!" Chi-yeol said, pointing at the window by So-yeon's bed. (Y/n) and Hui-rak checked the other two windows. (Y/n) couldn't help but wonder why such a small room had so many windows.
"Are you okay?" Jang-su asked So-chul.
"Yes, I'm okay," So-chul nodded, confirming that both window grates were stable.
"Are the windows holding up?" Yeong-shin asked. Jang-su nodded.
"Yes, they seem to be okay," Yeon-ju said, sliding shut the window she checked.
"There's a hole in this one," (Y/n) said.
"What?" Chi-yeol jogged over to check the window (Y/n) had slid open. "Hui-rak, Hui-rak! Hold here!" (Y/n) quickly moved out of the way after closing the window as Hui-rak and Chi-yeol moved a wooden dresser in front of the window. Hui-rak slid down against the dresser and Yeon-ju took a seat on So-yeon's bed.
The other group was immediately alarmed as the Cell began to move around on the roof again. Sun-yi and Jun-hi covered their ears as the others stared up at the ceiling."Why is it moving around like that?" Sun-yi whimpered. The group felt even more alarmed when the movement stopped suddenly. Their anxiety grew and they yelped as the Cell appeared again, rattling the grate. They calmed down just a bit when it was clear the Cell couldn't get in.
"Fuck, there are two of them," Tae-man muttered.
"Let's check," So-chul said, approaching the girl. So-yun grabbed his arm in protest.
"I think it's better to check," Yeong-shin said. So-yun hesitantly let go of So-chul, who unlocked the doors and cautiously opened one of them to peek out. Seeing that there was no Cell inside, they glanced back at the one that was outside. The Cell was already climbing back onto the roof. Hearing the vents rattle was all they needed to quickly close and lock the doors again. "There seems to be one," Yeong-shin said.
Yeong-shin paced back and forth, thinking of ways they could all get out of there... alive. Jang-su, too, was planning but he was sitting on the couch, worried out of his mind for the other group, which had the injured So-yeon and the sacrifical (Y/n), who Jang-su was sure would cause a distraction for everyone else if it meant they had a higher chance of escaping. Sun-yi suddenly plucked a piece of dry noodles from Jun-hi's lips.
"What's this?" Sun-yi demanded. Jun-hi looked immediately guilty.
"The thing is..."
"Hey, Hong Jun-hi! Did you eat ramyun?!" Sun-yi asked. All eyes were on the two girls, making Jun-hi grow even more guilty.
