Eviana
I wasn't feeling well so after having myself checked at the hospital, I headed straight home. Dalawang araw na rin akong naka-rest dahil mabigat ang pakiramdam ko.
While I was approaching our house, I saw a familiar car outside.
Parang...kotse ni Theno?
I stopped my car outside, opposite to the other car, then I got off. I read the plate number and realized that it's Theno nga. What is he doing here?
He also got out of his car and as usual, he greeted me first with his warm smile.
"Morning. What are you doing here?" I asked in my low voice to reserve the remaining volume I have left before my voice completely goes MIA. Haha!
"Uhm, visiting you."
"Kanina ka pa ba dyan?"
"Hindi naman."
Dumiretso ako sa gate at binuksan ito gamit ang susi ko.
"Tara, pasok ka." I invited as soon as I stepped foot inside.
While walking up to the door, I'm secretly praying in my mind na sana iniwang malinis ito ng mga kaibigan ko bago umalis. Nauna kasi ako kanina.
I secretly heaved a sigh of relief when I opened the door to find a squeaky clean living room. Mabuti at naglinis sila.
"Come in, make yourself at home." I told Theno as I opened the door wider for him.
"Wow, you have a nice house." He commented while looking around.
"Thank you, upo ka na lang dyan." Turo ko sa may sofa at akmang aalis na sana pero may bigla akong naalala kaya humarap ulit ako sa kaniya. "Ay nga pala, anong gusto mo? Juice? Water? Coffee? Ano?"
"Juice would be nice. Thank you." He flashed a smile making me bite my lower lip as I turned away to hide the fact that I'm gushing over his handsome smile.
He's so nice! He's handsome, he's...he's just perfect. Ewan ko ba kung bakit ganito nararamdaman ko sa kaniya kahit na ilang linggo pa lang kaming magkakilala. He's something else eh, it's as if he's different from all the other men in this world.

I didn't notice that I was already smiling so hard while juicing the fruits that I took from the fridge. Mukhang tanga!
I grabbed my cheeks and squeezed them together. "Eviana, control yourself. Please?" I pleaded to myself before I took the two glasses of fresh orange juice out to the living room.
"Oh, let me help you with that." He stood up and took the glasses from me and placed them on the table so I thanked him afterwards.
"Nga pala, bakit napabisita ka bigla?" Tanong ko pagkaupo sa sofa na katabi ng inuupuan niya. Ayoko munang magpaka-feeling close 'no! Saka na ako tatabi sa kaniya. Hahaha!
"Nothing, hindi kasi kita nakita sa cafe today and the past two days so I wondered if you were at home. I hope I didv'nt invade your privacy by showing up here?"
I immediately shook my head. "Hindi 'no! Ano ka ba, hindi ka naman na iba sa'min.
Napangiti siya. "Bakit nga pala wala ka sa cafe?"
I cleared my throat, my face scrunching because of the pain of doing that. "I wasn't feeling well kasi, sumakit 'yung lalamunan ko from too much sweets then ayon, naging lagnat na." Pagpapaliwanag ko.
Concern was evident on his face. "Nakapagpa-check up ka na ba?"
"Yeah, viral infection but don't worry, I'll be fine." I smiled to reassure him.
