Saturday couldn't have come any quicker. After getting ready, I headed straight to Viana's house to fetch her.
I arrived 10 minutes earlier than the agreed meeting time so I sat in the car to pass the time. Ayoko namang mag-door bell at madaliin si Viana. Maaga pa naman.
I'm actually excited to see what she'll be wearing. The motif of the party is pink and gray, my niece's favorite colors, of course. Magv-volunteer na nga sana ako na bumili ng damit niya since ako naman ang nag-aya, but she insisted na meron naman daw siyang damit na fit sa motif so hinayaan ko na.
A few minutes have passed so I got out of the car and rang the door bell. It only took a few seconds before someone opened the gate, a girl in a hurry wearing her earrings.
"Hey! You're here. Wait lang ha." She leaned closer for a beso, and I tried my best to not freeze because of how majestic she looks.
It's a simple, gray, one shoulder mermaid dress with ruffles, but she carried the wholeness of the outfit with confidence, like how she always does.
"Take your time, maaga pa naman tayo." I reassured her because she's in a hurry now.
Watching her panic made me secretly laugh for some reason. Ang cute mataranta.
"I'll just get my purse upstairs then we can go." She said as she ran up the stairs, leaving me down here in the living room.
A few seconds passed by, and my wait came to an end when I saw her carefully walking down the stairs.
She's got her beautiful light brown, medium length wavy hair flowing on her back, with a face with light makeup. She's already stunning when she's bare-faced, so just imagine her in a glammed up look, she's perfect!
It's surprising that I was able to maintain my composure because she truly looks amazing.

Is it bad that I haven't given her a single compliment? Ewan ko ba, parang ayaw gumalaw ng dila ko. Kanina pa nga ako tahimik eh.
It's just...I want to shower her with compliments pero hindi ko alam kung papaano. I don't know how well she does with compliments.
While we were walking up to the venue, she kept on glancing at me.
"Nervous?" I asked.
She smiled awkwardly. "Yeah. Ngayon na lang ulit ako pupunta sa event na hindi ko kilala ang mga tao." She whispered in my ear.
I grasped her hand that was clinging on my arm. "I'm here, you'll be fine."
Soft classical music greeted us upon entering through the entryway. A few people looked at us and smiled, and we responded in the same way. Of course, some of them were familiar to me.
"Kuya's here!" My sister, Aphria, exclaimed upon seeing me. She's the celebrant's Mom.
Guys, please don't scare my date tonight. Baka ma-overwhelm 'to sa kadaldalan ng mga kapatid ko.
"And he brought someone...." My youngest sister, Alana, said as she popped out of nowhere.
I can feel Viana moving closer and closer to me which gives me the impression that she's tensed with the unfamiliar place and faces.
"Hi! I'm Aphria, Kuya Theno's most beautiful sister." My sister humorously introduced herself. Ako nga dapat mag-iintroduce sa kanila eh!
I smiled awkwardly, hoping that these two rascals won't scare my date away.
