Mike
After having a small talk with Marisol, I watched as she sat there trailed in her own thoughts. Just as I looked away from her, I heard a thump. I turned away quickly, only to see Kellin's daughter collapsed on the ground. I only went inside to go grab a beer but it seems like she was my new mission. I kind of stared at her for awhile before I did anything. I didn't want anyone to walk in and think I'm making wrong moves on her. I barely knew the girl.
I swipped her light body from the ground and almost dropped her once I found out again who she was. I stared at her face and recognized all her features. Just like somebody's. "Marisol...." I whispered to myself. I remember her as a baby. I hurried her to the couch. I laid her down gently.
"Mike please. Don't. You wouldn't. This is wrong. M-my dad—Kellin is downstairs!" She said raising her voice. I quickly looked around and hoping nobody heard that. "Mary? Hey.." I said touching her arm. I knew this was not a good thing to do and she was having a nightmare. I had to put a stop to this. "Marisol I would never—Marisol!" I said shaking her. "Michael!" She yelled and I jumped back. Marisol had used my real name, Michael.
"Marisol." I said loudly. Tears went down her now wet and sticky face. "Marisol" I yelled at her, she was half awake. After that fourth attempt to get her up, her eyes shot open and she rubbed her wet lashes and eyes. She gave out quiet sobs. "It was just a dream" She kept repeating and silently cried. "Marisol?" I asked and she looked at me devastated. "Mike?" She asked softly. "Yeah it's me. It's okay, it was just a nightmare sweetie." I said sitting next to her on the couch. She scooted away a little bit. "I-I um I am going to go see my dad" she said and got up. "What dad?" I asked and giggled. "Umm. Kellin. Like I said before, if there is anything you aren't telling me, it's really okay and you could tell me, alright?" She said. I slowly nodded and messed with my fingers. As she walked away, I quickly grabbed her sweatshirt. She stopped and looked at me uncomfortably. "It was just a dream. I would never hurt you, only protect" I said and she slowly nodded and walked off. "Thanks Mike," was what she said before she left the room.
I can tell she was in pain by the look in her face. Studying her from his interactions with her, she seemed slightly complicated. I could tell she trusted Kellin. Knowing who she really was, it was harder enough for the truth to come out.
Marisol
I walked outside after my fucked up dream with Mike. I rubbed my eyes and blew them to dry them. I think I am just paranoid. Mike would never do that. He even said it and he wouldn't risk his future. Afterall, he is the fucking drummer from Pierce The Veil for fuck sakes. Gosh me and my fucked up dreams. I am mad at myself for that. It is all in your head Marisol. I went out the door slowly. I took my pill before I came out so I wouldn't feel pain as much. I walked out covering my face a big, and moved slowly. I saw Kellin so I walked to him.
"Hi" I softly said and he smelt of alcohol. "Hello" he said casually and giggled with Justin. I looked at him weird and wrinkled my nose because of the smell of beer. "Haha this is Vic. Vic this is Marisol. The girl I was talking about. Meet the newest member of our beloved family." Kellin said. I had an idea who Vic really was towards me, I didn't want to assume but I felt I had no choice but to assume. I stepped back, trying to leave but Kellin grabbed my arm and introduced me to Vic once more. Kellin could feel the uneasy vibes I was sending, I just couldn't stand Vic. Why did I feel forced? I supported Vic but lately, it's been awkward. "It's nice to meet you, but I have to go" I said and Kellin didn't let go. "Marisol, just stay please? For me, just do this one thing" He whispered in my ear. What the hell was going on?
