Chapter 33

Marisol

"You've actually got to be shitting me!! I have a family!! I am a mother!!" I screamed only to be getting slapped by him. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO RAISE YOUR VOICE TOWARDS ME!" He snapped and I shut my mouth. "Take her to the training room Jimmy" he said to I guess, jimmy.

I was helped up and then shoved into a huge fitness room. I looked around and then this man paired us up with people. "Katy, you with Marisol. Jimmy your with Ken. Taylor and Hailey" he said and everyone got paired up. I looked at the pairs and they were working out with someone. I turned to Katy and she seemed as frightened as me. "Let's get to working or we get punished" she whispered and then started to get on the ground so she could do sit ups. I helped her and stood on her toes and she did her workouts. I repeated everything she did. "What's his name?" I asked Katy who the leader was. "Cameron" she said. I looked at him and he walked my way. I got on the ground to do a plank and he said "fight" and I got up and looked at him confused. 

Katy shot me a look before walking over to me holding her fists. I dodged her punch and swung my fist at her. It collided with her cheek and she fell. Cameron looked at me and raised his eyebrows. "Impressive" he said and called two people to take Katy to the healing room. I stood there and sat down while sighing.

Cameron looked back at me and walked my way again. "We can't let you go now. Your here for a reason... I'm tying to prepare each of you for something" he said. "If I wanted to be trained for anything, I'd go to military school" I said and turned and the 'pull ups' area. I felt Cameron's gaze still on me. He then walked away.

I looked back at him and he was looking outside of his window that was dark blue, morning sky. I looked around at my surroundings. I want Iris. We need to get out of here. I'm not someone's training slave and Iris isn't that child who gets taken away. I walked towards Cam. "do you have a bathroom?" I asked. "It's upstairs... It is past the living room and into the other hallway to your left" he said. I nodded and followed where he led me. I started looking for Iris. He had a big house!!

I heard a baby's cry. I followed the voice and saw a baby in a crib crying. I picked her up and rocked her. "Shh baby girl. I will try and find a way out of here" I said. I then looked around some more and looked out of the nearest window. It was high and I can't trust myself going down with Iris.

Wait. I wonder if I tie her to my back and escape making gentle movements and making sure she doesn't hit her head, we'll be okay. I smiled and took us into my 'room' and found a hoodie. I bent over with my knees on the floor and my stomach bending over the bed and slowly grabbed Iris holding her in a way to set her on my back and I tied it. Surprisingly she has been quiet. I tied another over us to make sure if one gets un loose, there is another to help support her. I made sure it doesn't get unloosened or was about to fall off. I then looked around and saw my phone in my pants pocket. I grabbed it and stuffed it in my sweatpants and opened the window attempting to get out.

After I got out, I looked around. I am afraid to move because I know I'll fall. I slowly, and I mean slowly moved my feet around to feel where I was going. There was a pole where water comes out when it rains, almost like a drain (forgot what it's called) and held that with my dear life and slowly slid down it. I touched the ground and took off running. I could hear Iris laughing because she was making cute noises.

I went into the darkness and then hurried and grabbed my phone sitting down in the grass. I hurried and untied the sweatshirt and grabbed Iris. Her eyes sparkled. "I'm sorry I put you through this" I said knowing she doesn't know a word I'm saying. I wrapped her in a sweatshirt I brought and put the other on. I pulled out my phone and turned the wifi and Bluetooth off and turned down the brightness all the way but kept the flash on. I picked Iris up and sang to her while I walked with her.

"Wait.." I unlocked my phone and looked around. No service bars FUCK!!! I sighed and kept walking. "Never mind" I said looking down at her. I haven't done this and I don't know if this is safe just because I'm a first time mother and a total noob but I will breastfeed her. I felt very awkward but I was feeding my child, making sure she was fed.

After that.. I continued to walk and carry Iris. She was sleeping and I was getting tired. I saw lights ahead. Wow. I looked at my phone and I had one bar. I hurried and called kellin.

Ring.....

"Marisol.?" He asked sounding a bit worried. "I lied. We were actually kidnapped. I wasn't with friends and it was a prank. I was being blackmailed. I did everything I could to escape his mansion but I'm lost right now. In the middle of nowhere" I said. "What!! Do you remember what direction he drove in?" He asked. "Uh I remember it was like... North of the house" I said and kellin hung up. I took and a deep breath and continued walking.
