   It wasn’t long before the manager had called  me into her office to ask me questions about how I was feeling, and she had brought up the call and the only thing I did just stared at her. That was because I tend to follow directions and didn’t say much.

She begged meme to say a few words and then half-assed me an apology to me. Before I had even made it back to my desk, I had a few people just standing by my desk. They wanted to give me hugs to help “support” me in my time of need. The office manager had sent out an email saying that the employees had been rude to me with my speech disorder.

    There is one person that had been a bit hard on me about the “accent” change happened to be a family member. That person had called me from the hospital, and they had told me things that required me to answer them and when I did, they had said I was faking and  to stop talking like that. That really hurt me, but I should have figured that I would have gotten that response from that person.
