I awoke in a white room and in bed that was less comfortable than my own. It was the damn hospital, a place I fucking hated because of coldness and the weird smells. It smelled like pure blood in here with a mix of urine.

"Oh gosh," I hissed as I felt my index finger being held by the long white cord connecting my body to heart monitor.

I turn around to see my mother, brother, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins staring at me wide-eyed.

"She's awake," Mom called towards the direction of the door.

My whole family jumped to my side, covering my sight of the white walls.

"You okay, baby?" My grandma asked.

"I'm fine," I answered, "This thing on my finger is completely annoying."

A Black male doctor with a white coat walked in the room. He smiled at us kindly.

"Hi, my name is Dr. Kinsley," the doctor introduced, "Ms. Xael you suffered from a couple scrapes on your legs that unfortunately needed stitches and you passed out."

"No shit, Sherlock," I thought.

The doctor announced, "I may have to ask for your family to leave Ms. Xael is that alright?"

"It's fine."

My family gathered out of the room, leaving me and Dr. Kinsley alone.

"Okay Dr. would did you want to tell me?" I asked.

"Ms. Xael you're one month pregnant," He announced slowly.

I just stared at him for what seemed like eternity because what he just told me would be a part of my eternity.

I asked myself aloud, "Where did I go wrong?" To be continued.....
