Chapter 12 Bad Luck

Several weeks pass and my life goes back to normal.i returned to work the day after my accident and haven't seen Lucian since either.  Theo had been around a lot more and I'd like to say that we have become friends,and Nisiah quit the burger supreme but he takes me back and forth to work and stays the night almost every night which has brought us so much closer.  Nisiah helped me rearrange my apartment and has made me happier than I could ever imagine.  The night we claimed each other matching marks popped up on our necks both looking like little crowns.  Nisiah keeps himself busy most days with his Alpha duties and I was finally living with some peace.  I was on my lunch break when Sheila called me into the office. "Hey you needed me "?  He grins looking up from her computer." Yes we need to talk, have a seat please." I sit down starting to panic internally " what's up"? She folds her hands on top of her desk" we are closing down and I wanted you to be the first to know".  I shake my head getting up" so when's my last day"?  He frowns " today actually that's why I'm understand if you just want to go ahead and go home." I sigh in disappointment" welp this sucks but yea I think I will.  I walk to the front clocking out and starting my walk home. The walk home was short mostly because my mind wouldn't was in frenzy mode. I wasn't so upset that the job was closing ,because Nisiah had been paying my bills and rent. I was more upset that I was losing the only place I went to socialize.   I get home dropping my keys on the kitchen table,stripping as I walk down the hallway to my bathroom to take a shower,taking my time enjoying the hot water running over my tense muscles.  I get out putting my hair in a bun and wrapping myself in a towel walking into my bedroom when I feel eyes watching me and chills run up my spine ,I stop in my tracks, my blood running cold." How , how did you get in here ?" Ivan smiles standing beside my bookshelf flipping through pages before putting it back." Seems your boyfriend ." I interrupt him " Lucian is nothing to me he left me ".  Ivan's smile fades" like I was saying ,he robbed me a couple of weeks ago and since I can't find him I have come to collect from you".  The evil radiating off of him gives me goosebumps. I back into the wall looking for my exit route when he pulls out some rope and a gun,pointing it at my head walking closer to me . " And well ,I will get what I'm owed". He pulls the towel from my body and I squirm trying to use my hands to cover myself.  Ivan runs the gun over my chest before putting it back to my head.  " Get on the bed, run and I'll kill you".  I lay on the bed, tears forming  in my eyes as he tied my hands and feet to the bed exposing everything in the open, putting the gun on the side table before taking off his pants and startling me .  " Are you scared puppet"?  I say nothing and he wipes a tear off my cheek with his thumb putting it to his mouth tasting it." Mm, hopefully you taste as good as your tears.". I start  struggling trying to knock him off of me screaming when a pair of wings grab him, throwing him into my bookshelf.  Nisiah picks up Ivan with one hand ripping his arms off with the other dropping him to his knees before ripping his head off and tossing it beside his body.  He steps back looking at his remains  before looking at me  and taking a breath of relief. Returning to his normal self he rushes over to me untying me from the bed, I wrap my arms around him crying.  " Are you ok? Look at me I'd hurt you"?  I shake my head, getting up and rushing to the closet putting on some clothes. Nisiah grabs his phone and calls Theo." I'm at Vivianas to get the clean up crew here quickly.". He hangs up the phone and we go to wait in the living room. Sitting on the couch.  " Thank you mr.beastman.". He chuckles and I sit in his lap nuzzling my face in his neck .   Shortly after the doorbell rings, Theo and several other people walk in with cleaning supplies and a body bag getting straight to work.   Twenty minutes later my room was the cleanest I had ever seen . The crew bowed their heads  to Nisiah and left.  " Wow, that's what I call pros at work".  Nisiah laughs .
