"... You son of a b**ch. Leave now and don't you dare come back."

"Listen here..." Matt says threateningly taking Christy by the shoulders and almost crushing her ribs in the process. "You will not leave me you hear! No one leaves me." He says between gritted teeth.

"I already left you." She states in a decisive tone. "Now unhand me you beast you're crushing me." She shouted effectively drawing the attention of the people in the dining room.

Instead of releasing her, his hold became more crushing. "You listen here you b**ch..." He started threateningly.

"Either you release her or you'll have a bullet in your head." A feral voice came from behind Christy's right shoulder.

The vice grip holding her captive loosened slowly and Christy finally pumped some much needed air into her lungs.

"Leave me alone and never come back." She finally managed to choke out in a whisper.

Matt chuckled, a sound that puts the nerves on edge. "You were lucky he was here this time let's see who'll help you next time." He threatens with a gleam in the eyes.

"Is that a threat?" Dean asks hostilely.

Matt raises his hands showing his palms and shrugging.

"You can understand it however you want." Matt answers nonchalantly carelessly turning his back to Christy and Dean and heading towards his car the smug smile never leaving his lips.

Garcia the perfect scout was still in his car across the street. Matt had driven to Christy's personally and it seemed that he needed Garcia to stay and tell him of the developments after he left.

Matt climbed in behind the wheel and drove off. Christy, for the sake of the act they were playing, started to tremble and she wrapped her hands around herself and Dean in the compassionate response that was expected from him wrapped her in his arms and led her inside then closed the door behind them.

"Now what?" Dean asks whispering in her ear as soon as they went inside and they closed the door making her shiver for real at the sensuous delight of his breath playing in her hair.

"Now we keep up the act. I wouldn't be surprised if Garcia is standing under the window listening in at the moment." She explains breathlessly grasping to the last vestiges of coherent thought and then she warns him "watch out for the waterworks." and bursts into tears. Dean holds her, quickly catching up.

"Come this way." He says guiding her to the sofa where he sat her down in the crook of his arm as Roberta rushed to see what was happening and try to help out.

They had abandoned their meal when Matt rang the doorbell. He knew how to act alright.

When Roberta answered the door he had asked to speak to Christy and when Christy came he started shouting and accusing her of sleeping around and leaving him for some piece of garbage cop. He called her names and she was forced to slap him. Of course that was the plan all along but boy did she love her revenge.

Now as she settled heaving in Dean's loving arms the plan couldn't have been any better.

"Take a deep breath" he cooed massaging her hair in a calming gesture. "It's ok. You're ok. Nothing will happen to you." He promised and he noticed a startled movement between the bushes outside the window that he quickly identified as Garcia. She was right. Again. He'd never met someone so self-assured and not full of it before.

It was a refreshing development. She was in his arms right where he wanted her to be from the start. He had carte blanche to treat her like his girlfriend and Matt though he had the upper hand. All was well. Finally he had caught a break.
