"Yeah boss." Tonio answered an hour later.
He was sitting in his parked car on Merriam Avenue near Rustic Drive where Dean lived not ten minutes away from Christy's house.
"No. we didn't find him yet." Tonio explained. "Dani is waiting at the station and I am still waiting at his house since you called this morning..." Matt gave him some orders that he always followed to the letter.
"Si, I'll let you know immediately." He explained to Matt.
"Goodbye." Dean said shutting his phone off.
"What is happening?" Christy asked as soon as he had replaced the phone into his suit pants.
"Jules says I'll need to come down to the station, so I need to leave immediately." Dean explained apologetically.
"I've called her yesterday after you passed out and explained what was going on. The agents that were following you said that..."
"Wait..." she interrupted holding her hands up palms open, "Come again!" She exclaimed, "I was being followed yesterday?"
"Well Matt was being trailed, and you were with him yesterday so technically yeah!" He said sighing exasperatedly knowing that she didn't like the idea a lot. "Even if he wasn't trailed I would have sent some agents yesterday to make sure that he returned you safely." He added thinking that he will regret this revelation because this might upset her.
Instead, Christy smiled and kept silent urging him to continue with his story.
"So anyway, Jules says that after he dropped you off, he went to your father's office." Dean laid down the situation. "And I gotta go see what's happening. But first I'll have to go home to change." He blew out his frustration.
"So that means that I'll have to leave soon to give you time to sneak out." Christy deduced and she got the chance to see his flashing smile.
She surprised him by ordering him, "Out!"
"What?" It was his turn to be surprised and the smile turned to puzzlement.
"Out!" She repeated again, turning him forcefully and shoving him towards the door.
"Why?" He asked as he was dragged out.
"Obviously," she explained as if to a child gesturing to her attire, "I need to get dressed."
"I've seen it all before," he protested teasingly and he earned a pinch and another shove.
"I won't teach you the pinching technique anytime soon if you're going to practice on me," Dean said chuckling.
"Now," she said when he was finally outside her bedroom door, "Never joke about that again!" She ordered her cheeks flaming.
"I thought you were glad that I undressed you." He teased again earning a punch to the shoulder.
"Don't take my words out of context," she threatened wagging her finger in his face, "I said that I was glad it wasn't Matt, that doesn't mean that I'm glad you undressed me."
"You say potato I say...well you fill in the blank." he unwittingly answered shrugging trying desperately to hide his grin and failing miserably.
Christiana growled in frustration and shut the door in his face.
Not ten minutes later Roberta was home again and twenty minutes after that Christy was in her convertible black BMW M6 driving off.
She hadn't told Dean where she was going although he had pushed and probed but she didn't give in. He would have sent agents to trail her if he could spare any but he couldn't and he had to live with the fact that he wasn't going to know where she was heading.
