[Platonic, Halloween Edition] Ixol x Reader

Y/N finds themselves deep in a corn maze, they were unable to find the exit or where they came from.

"Why did I think this was a good idea? Ixol's going to laugh at me for this!"

They continue to wander, hoping to find something, yet it felt like they were going in circles. Y/N heard rustling from behind, but upon turning, nothing was there. They seemed unsettled but proceeded to walk through the maze anyway.

"That was probably just a little mouse! Calm down, it's probably nothi-" A blur of black passes by Y/N, causing them to jump.

"That definitely was not a mouse..." Their pace quickens, breaking into a sprint as they hear the creature chasing behind them, they do not dare to look. Y/N could hear laughter, it didn't sound human, but they could tell it sounded sinister.

"Leave me alone please!" They shouted, hoping to be heard, but it didn't listen, the laughter becoming louder. Y/N tripped over a rock, falling to the ground, quickly rolling to their back to face the creature. Under the moonlight, all they could see is a pumpkin on its head, an evil grin carved on it. Their eyes glow a fierce red, chuckling at the other.

'Why?' was all Y/N could think of as their eyes closed shut, feeling the creature leaning closely towards them, but nothing happened. They opened their eyes, gazing into the red eyes staring right at them.

"... Y/N..."

"D-don't hurt me!"

"... Do I look cool in this costume?"

Y/N looks stunned, quickly realizing who the creature was. They slapped them in the face.

"This isn't funny!"

"Ow! It was a harmless scare, coward!"

"I thought you were going to kill me Ixol! That is not harmless, though I admit it was a very well made costume..."

"Ha! I knew it!"

"But you didn't have to scare me like that!"

"Did you think a man-made corn maze would have something dangerous living in it? That's not even possible."

"Unless someone decides to inhabit it! Just take off that stupid costume."

"Okay, okay. Whatever floats your boat." Ixol would grab onto his pumpkin head, attempting to pull it off. He does not succeed.

"Uh... It won't budge."

"Really? Let me help." Y/N tries to pull off the pumpkin head, to which they don't succeed.

"Ow ow! That hurts..."

"Who told you it's a good idea to wear a plastic pumpkin head that's too small on you?!"

"A real pumpkin would easily crumble, and this was all I had!"

"What even is this? Is this even meant for costume wearing!?"

"It's a pumpkin for decoration... I just cut a hole under it, covered the top and put it on."

"No wonder! Now how did you think you'd remove that thing?"

"... I didn't think this far." Ixol admitted, which made Y/N sigh.

"Let's go find something to split that pumpkin in half."

"I don't like the sound of that! What if you split my h e a d in half?"

"Oh relax, your head will be fine! It's just going to hurt a bit, but no damage will occur to you, just don't try using decorations as a costume again."

"Okay..." Ixol took them out of the cornfield, making their way back to sky emporium. Compale notices the two and approaches.

"I see you two returned from the corn maze, how was it?"

"It was terrible. But the main issue right now is that the pumpkin on Ixol's head is stuck."

"Well I had warned him about using last year's decoration as a costume piece..."

"And he didn't listen."

"HEY! I thought it wouldn't be that B A D . I didn't know that it would be difficult to remove it when putting it on!"

"I- you know what nevermind. Do you want to get that off now?"

"Yeah! I don't like how this is clinging on my face, is there a way to remove it Compale?"

"Oh yeah, there is." Compale manifests a saw made of ice in their hand, leaving Ixol unsettled. "There's a quick way."

"Uh. On second thought-" Ixol was quickly held down by Y/N,  "LET ME G O!"

"Nuh uh! Not until we get that pumpkin off your head."

"I'd prefer to keep my head intact than this!!"

"Quit being terrified, just close your eyes."

"... How about-" Ixol quickly shoves Y/N aside, running away.

"Ah shoot we have a runaway." Compale says as he chased after Ixol, Y/N following closely as the monochrome colored point tried to escape.

"Leave me alone!!"

"No! Get back here! That pumpkin needs to go!"

"Not with THAT!" Ixol jumps into Ulipse's world entrance room, entering her world. The other two tailed behind him as he continued to run, only to be knocked over by Ulipse herself, being held down by a shadow hand.

"Okay. What's going on?"

"Ixol was trying to run away! Compale was going to saw off the pumpkin decoration on his head, but he kept screaming about how he didn't want his head to be sawed in half too then ran off..."

"Is this true, Ixol?"

"... Yeah."

"Alright, saw off the pumpkin."

"ULIPSE WAIT NO-"

Compale swiftly moves in, carefully sawing the pumpkin off of Ixol's head, tugging it off of him completely afterwards. He seems dazed, glancing around and at the sawed off pumpkin in Compale's hand.

"I..."

"You're welcome."

Y/N would walk over to Ixol (who Ulipse had let go of), reaching their hand towards him.

"Much better now isn't it?"

"It's okay now. Thanks."

"Come on, wanna go get some candy?"

"Sure." He grabs their hand, slowly getting up from the sandy ground, brushing off some sand from their body. The two would head out of the world, leaving Ulipse and Compale.

"Compale, I think you should get him an actual proper pumpkin to wear for his costume next year."

Compale glances at Ulipse, his symbol flickering in amusement. "Pffft, Nah. He would probably dress up as something else next year after that good scare!"
