Chapter 19 - Bonnie

I woke up exited. We are getting Kai out today along with us! Jessica had the ascendant. I have no idea how but I didn't question it. We were all leaving this hell and I got to go home to my friends. I wonder how Everyone is doing...

We stopped outside the door and didn't bother knocking knowing Kai would open it. And there he was. With a freshly shaved face and nice clothes on. Hmm I never knew he liked to keep himself fresh. Who was he trying to impress? We walked outside and located the spot where we had last escaped this world. Somewhere where the eclipse would rest well and we would be able to go home. We started walking to our destination when Jessica said she had to get something, she didn't tell us what, which left me and Kai alone. We continued to walk without her because she said she would catch up. 'So, Bonnie' he said so innocently that it irritated me. 'Can we just get through this without talking?' I spat out. We walked silently for about 30 seconds before he tried to make conversation again. 'You came back for me-' I cut him off ' I'm only here to save Joe!'
His face dropped out of his usual smirk and he said ' do you believe me?' I raised an eyebrow in questioning. He continued 'do you believe that I really am sorry' I shook my head. I didn't want to speak, what he did to me can't be fixed, If I spoke now I might tear up with anger and he couldn't see me like that. 'Bonnie, please look at me' he begged. I obeyed because I didn't want to get myself more worked up. 'I'm so sorry, for everything, I hurt people it's what I do. It's what I did... Bonnie...' He trailed off. He looked at me expecting me to butt in but I stared ahead and continued walking without so much as a glance in his direction. He took that as a chance to continue. 'Bon. Ie. Bonnie. I know I can never fix what I did but if you just gave me the opportunity please, I need this' at this point I turned to him and viciously said 'need what? Huh? Why do you need this? Why do you need me to forgive you?'
'Because he's in love with you.' A voice from behind me spoke, making me jump. I turned round and it was Jessica of course. 'What!?' I demanded. I turned back to Kai who was now staring at the ground. He looked up and smiled a forced smile at me as if he was scared. My facial expression held confusion. Kai was in love with me.
