Chapter 27 - Damon

'What's going on with them?' Stefan asked curiously. 'Oh brother, there's so much you don't know' I replied with apathy. I had to explain to him how Kai was all lovey dovey with Bonnie because Jessica had used expression. And now they were going alone to hell aka the prison world. Bonnie wouldn't feel the same for him, she too smart, I'm sure she wouldn't. Okay I'm not sure. I'm going with them to make sure nothing happens. It's settled.

'Hello.' I stated as I walked towards Bonnie and Kai. They had simply decided to meet outside my house, oooo cunning. Bonnie raised an eyebrow in confusion when I appeared and Kai asked nervously 'hey, what are you doing here'
'Who me?' I paused. 'I'm coming with'
Kai instantly tried to almost defend himself. 'I don't think Bonnie has enough to take 3 there and 4 back' he said nervously. 'Don't come then' I said way meaner then I needed to which caused Bonnie to glare at me. 'I asked him to come' Bonnie said not so convincingly, you know, since she was lying. I looked at Bonnie and nodded. Kai just looked nervously down. 'Lets get going' I said after a few seconds of awkward.

'Jessica should greet us soon' Bonnie said with a shakeup voice. 'Well let's hope she doesn't do anything stupid' I muttered. Kai kept looking at Bonnie to which Bonnie would reply by looking at him every so often and looking away instantaneously. I saw someone in the distance and I was the only one to notice. She was walking slowly as if she was hurt. 'Jessica?!' I shouted, Turing Bonnie and Kai's attention away from one another. 'That's her' Bonnie confirmed. we all waited in silence until Jessica walked over to us. 'You bitch!' She yelled and almost slapped Bonnie before I stepped in quickly to grab her hand. 'Careful' I warned. 'She left me in here, just like you once did to her!' She said through gritted teeth. Bonnie started talking 'Jessica I'm so sorry, I know what you've been through the past through days, I've been through hell too but now is your chance to get back out and I'm truly sorry.' Kai stepped in 'and in her defence, you were using expression.'
'Well what did she except?!' Jessica nervously laughed.
'Calm down' I said sarcastically. We started the spell to go back using Jessica's magic. I always hated watching Bonnie cut her hand and drip her blood on to the ascendant which Jessica had at the ready. Things weren't usually this simple. We were going back and hat was it and we were going to get joe back.... Nothing else to it. Seems shifty but I'm going to go with it.

From the sound of cars outside I assumed I had returned home. Stefan instantly approached me and said 'hey, how'd it go?' I looked around me to notice I was in my house, with no one else around me... 'Ummm, I don't know' I said honestly, still desperately searching the room. There was a knock on the door and I watched stefan walk over to answer it whilst I stood there in confusion. 'Is Damon here?' A familiar, shrill voice said. I walked towards the door and Jessica was there. 'What happened, where's Bonnie?' And Kai, but who cares about him. 'Oh I left them there.' She said in a simple tone. I widened my eyes. 'Don't worry I'll still get Joe back, it's part of my plan.'
I flung my hand up to slap her but froze when my hand was 5 inches from her face. I couldn't move as she squinted her eyes evilly at me. 'Don't touch me' she said with fake power in her voice. She unfroze me and I dropped my hands. Whatever game she was playing, I had to step around this minefield lightly to find out. So I faked a smile for the time being.
