I woke up to the bright light of day remembering last night. I turned over to make sure it wasn't a dream and there she was. The beautiful Bonnie. I just lay in the bed for a while thinking about her. Damon's bed... Oh ummm. Let's just call it Bonnie's bed for now. Wait what if she regretted last night? Did I take advantage of her? I mean she made it pretty clear that that was what she wanted but she could have changed her mind. No she's going to think this was a huge mistake. Can you imagine how much it hurts when the woman you love decides that you were just a mistake... Wait I'm overthinking this way too much. So I crept out of bed and shoved on a pair of pajama bottoms and headed to the kitchen for food. Because food is always good. Always. I peaked at Bonnie before I left to see if she was still sleeping which she was. Fast asleep. I almost couldn't help but smile at her beauty.

I had almost finished making my omelete when Bonnie walked downstairs. She headed straight to the fridge and poured herself a drink without even glancing at me. I was nervous but despite managed to say 'good morning' cheerfully. She smiled at me and pulled a chair over to the counter. She didn't look too happy. 'You're just in time for breakfast' I said as a matter of fact. She was staring at her glass of orange juice as she said 'I'm not hungry' I put my food on a plate and walked over to her to ask what's wrong. She wouldn't look me in the eyes and replied 'I want to go home'.
Well of course she did. So did I. I had to make her feel better.
'Bonnie, I'm going to get us home' she didn't seem to react and continued to stare at her glass with her nails tapping on the counter. I decided to test the boundaries and finished with 'because I love you'. Finally I got a reaction out of her. She took a sip of her drink then sat it between both her hands and smiled at me. Not a full smile just a smile that was almost grateful but still broken.
'Why don't I make you pancakes?' I suggested. She finally smiled properly and said 'that would be great but eat your omelete first'. I let her watch as I took the pan out of the cupboard and started to look for flour. 'Kai, it will go cold' she finally chimed in. 'So let it.' I said simply shrugging my shoulders. She couldn't help letting out a small laugh and finally looked like she had a little bit of hope. Even if it was only a tiny bit, and maybe not even hope for escape. But it was hope all the same

I'm probably going to stop writing this due to lack of interest but will continue to write it for me because Bonkai is life. I might start writing a Kaimon/Kamon fanfic because why the hell not x
