A/N POV~

After some time, the sisters arrived and saw a handsome man sitting across from Misoo. He paid for her meal and said goodbye before leaving. The others approached her, wearing curious expressions. Misoo knew what they were thinking but didn’t bother explaining immediately.

"Who was that?" Jisu finally asked.

"Who do you think it was?" Misoo replied with a smirk.

"Don’t tell me that's your boyfriend!" Daisy said, her face lighting up with excitement.

"Daisy?!" Misoo shouted. "Let’s sit at another table, and I'll tell you who that was."

They all sat at a four-person table. Autumn and Jisu looked over the menu, while Daisy turned to Misoo, "So, who was that guy?"

Misoo took a deep breath and explained what had happened before they arrived.

"Poor guy, he must be regretting his timing," Jisu laughed.

"Ready to order?" the waiter asked. Autumn, Jisu, and Daisy ordered, and then Misoo glanced at the menu.

"And one chocolate cake, please," Misoo added.

Autumn raised her eyebrows and asked, "Didn’t you just finish a table full of food?"

"So what? You guys are eating; I’ll keep you company," Misoo replied. Autumn sighed and said, "That's all, thank you." The waiter nodded and left.

After lunch, Autumn paid, and they stepped outside.

"So, what’s the plan? Where are we going next?" Misoo asked.

"No plans yet. Let me call Jia, and maybe we can think of something," Autumn suggested. The others nodded as Autumn dialed Jia and put the call on speaker. Jia answered on the third ring.

"Hello, eonnie."

"Where are you?"

"I’m… somewhere nearby. Why?"

"We’re planning to hang out. Thought I’d call you."

"Oh… you guys go ahead. I’m a bit busy."

"Are you by the beach, Jia?" Autumn asked, noticing the sound of heavy wind.

"N-no, why do you ask?"

"I can hear the ocean breeze."

"Oh… okay, I’m just walking near the beach."

"Got it, bye."

"Bye."

The others gave each other a suspicious look. "Didn’t she sound a bit off?" Jisu asked, and the others agreed.

"Let me check her location," Misoo suggested. When she checked, they found that Jia was indeed at the beach, as Autumn suspected. "Why would she lie about that?" Daisy wondered aloud.

"Let’s go find out," Misoo said, and they all nodded. They split into two cars, with Daisy riding with Misoo and Jisu with Autumn, heading straight for the beach.

When they arrived, they spotted Jia's car and headed further down to look for her.

"There she is… wait, who’s that with her?" Daisy pointed to a small resting shed by the beach.

"Isn’t that the guy from the incident this morning?" Jisu asked Autumn.

"Yes, but why is she with him?" Autumn replied, equally puzzled.

"What incident?" Misoo asked with a curious look.

"Nothing, I’ll explain later," Jisu winked, and Misoo nodded.
