Jimin's POV
It was Tae’s engagement day, and everything was set. Everyone was ready to go, and we all got into our cars. Each of us took our own, and I wasn’t sure if there would be enough space for all of them.
I was happy for Tae and still couldn’t quite believe he was getting engaged. Sometimes, I think about wanting someone I can love and cherish for my whole life too. To be honest, I think I’ve developed feelings for Jisu, but I know she’s Felix’s girlfriend. Still, I’m not entirely sure about that—nothing seemed unusual or related to Felix in the time I’ve spent with her.
We arrived at their house. Thankfully, there was enough space for all our cars. The door was already open, so we went inside, but no one was there. Everything was decorated perfectly yet simply.
Tae called out for everyone, and I wondered, Will she wear the dress I gave her? Everyone came down, dressed in stunning outfits. I noticed Tae's loving gaze on Jia, and everyone else seemed just as captivated, except for Suga hyung and Hobi hyung, who seemed unfazed. Then, I looked at the back of the group and saw Jisu—wearing the dress I gave her, which made me feel happy. She looked absolutely stunning.
A/N POV
Everyone came down and greeted the boys. "Baby, I’m going to cry—you look so beautiful," Tae complimented his soon-to-be fiancée. Misoo and Autumn headed to the kitchen to bring welcome drinks.
"Unnie, don’t you think something seems off about Jisu’s outfit?" Misoo asked Autumn, also feeling suspicious. "Yeah, I don’t remember buying it, and Jisu usually shows us new outfits, but I don’t recall this one," Autumn replied, equally puzzled. "Unnie, when I saw the dress, I felt like I’d seen it before. While you were all talking upstairs, I checked through my company’s new design collection that hasn’t been released yet. This dress is one of them," Misoo explained. Both agreed they needed to find out how Jisu got it.
They returned to the living room, served drinks, and the event began. Tae and Jia exchanged rings and took countless photos together and with others. After the photoshoot, everyone relaxed and mingled.
Jisu was in the kitchen when Jimin joined her. "You look beautiful in this dress—I have great taste," Jimin said proudly. "It’s not your taste; I just have a great body," Jisu smirked, making Jimin pout. They shared a laugh and shook hands, agreeing to be friends. Although their relationship hadn’t started well, they were now on better terms.
Back in the living room, Misoo and Namjoon were bonding, clearly growing closer. Misoo had also befriended the other boys, while Autumn, though friendly, kept a certain distance from Jin. Jia was comfortable with everyone, although Tae remained protective of her, and they were mostly in their own world. Daisy, ever the social butterfly, easily got along with everyone, and the boys treated her like a little sister.
Jia was friendly but maintained some distance, except with Tae, Jimin, and Suga. She found Suga’s personality intriguing. Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook took a walk around the house, and Jin and Autumn were upstairs. Misoo and Namjoon shared a couch, Suga and Jisu sat together, and Daisy and Jhope shared a seat, with Hobi and Daisy playing a game. Misoo and Namjoon chatted about work and art, connecting over shared interests.
Suga and Jisu, despite their contrasting personalities, got along well. "Jimin gave you that dress, didn’t he?" Suga asked. "Yeah," Jisu replied softly. "He prepared it for you last night and didn’t sleep at all," Suga said. Jisu was amazed to know Jimin had stayed up all night to get the dress ready, and the thought made her heart flutter. They continued chatting, unaware that Misoo had overheard them, realizing where Jisu's dress came from. What could possibly go wrong now?
Autumn's POV
I went to my room to grab my phone charger from the nightstand by my bed. I heard a click behind me and turned to see Jin in my room with the door closed.
I felt a bit uneasy as he stepped closer, causing me to back away until my leg hit the bed. Jin kept approaching, and I swallowed nervously as he reached up, grabbing my chin to make me look at him.
I slapped his hand away and pushed him back, creating some distance. But when I tried to walk away, he grabbed my wrist, pulling me back. "Where are you going? I have something to tell you," he said. "What is it? I’m busy," I replied, annoyed. "You’re not going anywhere until I’m done," Jin said coldly, his tone almost frightening.
I tried to break free, but Jin pulled a gun from the back of his pants and pointed it at my head, freezing me in place. "I’m not going to hurt you. Just do as I say," he assured in a chilling voice, making me shiver with fear.
"O-okay, I-I’ll do as y-you say," I stammered, staring at the gun.
"Good." He sighed, lowering the gun and placing a white paper on the bed. "Sign this..."
