Jimin’s POV

Jin hyung and Jungkook went shopping, so I decided to get back to work. I needed to find Felix, but the plan was to locate his girlfriend first to get closer to him. According to the information I received, she’d be coming to the park for her morning run.

I got a call from the secret agent I’d placed to watch him and his girlfriend. “She’s left for her run. She’s wearing blue sportswear and has a German Shepherd dog with her,” he informed me.

“Okay, keep an eye on him. I’ll track her,” I replied, ending the call. I rushed out of the mansion toward the park.

When I arrived, I started searching for the girl based on the description. After a bit of searching, I finally found her—a girl in blue sportswear—but I was surprised to see that it was the sister of the girl Jin hyung was after. I kept watching her until one of the staff called me. When I looked back, the dog was gone. No matter; I decided to approach her anyway.

Author's Note (A/N) POV

Felix’s girlfriend’s name was Norma, though it wasn’t known publicly. She was also his secretary, but no one knew that detail. As she left the mansion, she was aware someone was watching her but chose to ignore it.

When she reached the park, she noticed Jimin, one of Felix’s biggest enemies. Now, she knew who had been watching her. She called one of her staff members to bring her a change of clothes, then hid from Jimin’s view.

While hiding, she noticed a girl wearing the exact same outfit and looking similar to her. By the time her staff returned with her clothes, she had the perfect plan. She approached the girl and asked her to hold the dog for a moment. She quickly went to the restroom nearby, changed, and when she came out, she saw that Jimin was watching the girl. Taking the dog back without being noticed, she left the park.

Jisu’s POV

He spoke up. “Hello, I’m Jimin. We met this morning, remember?” I just nodded. He continued, “What’s your name, sweetheart?”

I raised an eyebrow at the last word, realizing he was a flirt. “Jisu,” I replied.

“No matter what your name is, I’m gonna call you baby,” he teased.

‘What a flirt,’ I thought. “What do you want?” I asked, a little annoyed.

“Baby, don’t you like me sitting here?” he asked with puppy eyes.

“Stop calling me ‘baby,’” I snapped, getting angry.

Jimin didn’t seem to mind and continued to flirt. Finally, I gave up and stood to leave, but he grabbed my wrist and said, “Baby, where are you going?”

I hate it when people grab my wrist. I find it rude. Annoyed, I tried to shake his grip, but he was strong. Finally, my anger took over, and I slapped him, which made him loosen his hold. I quickly ran away.

A/N POV

Jimin didn’t bother going after her but instead returned to the mansion. While looking through company files later, he discovered that the girl from the park, named Jisu, worked at his company. He assumed it was a fake name since he thought she was Felix’s girlfriend.

Meanwhile, as Jisu ran, she ended up meeting Autumn and Daisy, who were also running after making a scene at the library. Autumn got into the car, and the others joined her as they drove home. On the way, they shared their morning’s events.

Back at home, Jisu freshened up while the others did their own things. By 11:30, none of them were in the mood to cook.

“Are we ordering food or cooking? I’m not in the mood to cook,” Jisu said.

“Me neither,” Autumn agreed.

Daisy said nothing, and they didn’t bother to ask since she never liked cooking anyway.

“Let’s go to Mono. They have the best food, and they just launched a new dish,” Daisy suggested.

“That’s where Misoo went. I’m not sure if she’s still there, though,” Autumn replied.

“Let me call her,” Jisu suggested, and the others nodded.

Jisu called Misoo, who picked up on the third ring.

“Hello?”

“Where are you?”

“I’m still at Mono. Why?”

“Stay there; we’re coming.”

“Okay, come quick. I was about to leave.”

With that, the call ended, and they all got ready to go to Mono.

Misoo’s POV

I reached Mono within half an hour. It was quiet and calm since it was still early. I always loved the vintage, brown aesthetic vibe of Mono’s interior—it matched my style perfectly.

I found a small table in the corner and placed my order. While waiting, I started sketching designs for my upcoming fashion collection, which was a dream come true. Every piece I’d designed would be showcased in the show and made available to the public.

As I finished a few designs, my order was ready. I picked it up and headed back to my table, but someone bumped into me, spilling my entire meal. I hate when food is wasted; it’s the one thing that truly angers me. Looking up, I saw a tall, handsome man with dimples and dragon-like eyes.

“Don’t you have eyes?” I snapped.

“I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention,” he apologized, but I was too focused on my wasted food.

“Do you see how much food you’ve wasted? Do you realize how many people are struggling to get a meal?” I said, using my usual line for people who waste food.

Before I could say more, he interrupted, “I’ll pay for it.”

“No need. I already paid,” I replied, a bit calmer. “Oh, okay,” he said, turning to leave.

“What am I supposed to eat now? You spilled my food,” I grumbled.

“Alright, I’ll pay. Order whatever you want,” he said, which was exactly what I wanted to hear.

A/N POV

Misoo didn’t waste any time. She grabbed his wrist, pulled him to her table, and made him sit across from her. He noticed her designs on the table and recognized that she worked at his company, as she was using a company-issued sketchpad exclusive to designers.

Misoo ordered a huge amount of food now that she wasn’t paying. When the food arrived, the table was covered, and he was surprised by how much she ordered, considering her slim figure.

He had initially come to the restaurant for a meeting, but the person he was meeting couldn’t make it, so he was now unexpectedly paying for this random girl’s meal. But as they ate and chatted, he found her beautiful and charming.

Time flew by, and it was already 11:30 when her phone rang. She picked it up and ended the call after a quick exchange. He heard her say she was about to leave, and he felt a bit relieved—until he noticed there was still one more plate of food left on the table.

“My sisters are coming,” she said, smiling. “Thanks for the food. I’ll never forget this,” she added, watching him smile back with his dimples in full display, making her heart flutter. Though she didn’t fully understand this feeling, she was definitely intrigued.
