Meanwhile with the Brothers

Seokjin’s POV

After a stressful meeting with my team, I decided to take a short walk. Just as I was about to head out, Jungkook called out, “Hyung, where are you going?”

I looked back to see him approaching. “I’m just going for a walk. What’s up?” I replied.

“Nothing much, hyung. I’ll come with you,” he said.

“Okay,” I agreed.

We stepped outside the building and decided to walk near my agency. We were still wearing our suits and didn’t bother to change. As we walked and chatted, we passed by the agency and ended up near a bus stop.

That’s when someone bumped into me, spilling coffee on my suit. I looked down and saw a beautiful, cute girl who looked about 23. I noticed her work ID and realized she worked as the Managing Director’s secretary at my agency.

I was a bit taken aback but quickly came to my senses and noticed my brand-new suit was stained with coffee. I couldn’t say much, though, because she kept apologizing. Deciding to let it go, I was about to tell her it was fine. I looked over at Jungkook and could see he was also a bit annoyed but shared my intention to let it slide.

Just then, a car made a U-turn and stopped next to us. However, the driver didn’t notice the puddle on the road, and water splashed all over us, completely soaking both Jungkook and me. The driver called out to the girl who had spilled coffee, making it clear they were there to pick her up.

Feeling my temper rise, I was about to scold her, but before I could say anything, she quickly said, “I’m so sorry for the trouble!” and dashed into the car, which sped off immediately. Still unsatisfied, I turned to Jungkook, who was equally upset, and we headed back to the mansion nearby.

After showering and changing, I called my agency’s manager to gather some details about her, as she worked there. I learned a few things, like where she lived and her age—she was actually 25, not 23. She seemed a bit mysterious; all I found out was that she lives with her sisters and is the oldest among them.

Later, I called a small meeting in the living room with the rest of the brothers.

“What’s up, hyung?” Jimin asked.

“We have a little job to handle tomorrow morning,” I told them.

“What time, hyung?” Namjoon asked.

“We’ll head out at 6:00 a.m.,” I replied.

“I don’t think I’ll make it, hyung. I have a meeting with Mr. Choi at Mono Restaurant at 6:30,” Namjoon said.

“That’s okay. The others can make it, right?” I asked, and everyone agreed to come along except Namjoon.

“So, hyung, what’s the plan and what’s the mission?” Suga asked.

I outlined the plan and explained the mission. “So, everyone, be ready by 5:45 and meet by the car.”

They all reassured me they’d be there. We dismissed the meeting, said goodnight, and headed to our rooms.

(What will happen in the morning…)

Author’s Note - POV

At the Sisters’ House

It was 5:00 a.m., and everyone was still sleeping since it was their day off. Everyone, except for Misoo, who had woken up unusually early. Normally, Misoo and Daisy were the ones who slept in.

The reason Misoo was up early was that she wanted to try out a new menu item at a restaurant called Mono. She loves exploring new foods and trying out dishes as a hobby.

She dislikes wasting food or seeing anyone else waste it. She got ready to head out, but before leaving, she texted Autumn that she’d be back later.

A little while later…

At around 6:00 a.m., everyone else was still asleep when someone rang the doorbell, disturbing Jisu’s sleep. She tried to ignore it, but it rang again.

Finally, she got up and went downstairs to see who it was. By then, Autumn had also woken up from the noise. Both sisters were irritated at having their sleep disturbed. Jisu opened the door to find six tall, handsome men standing there. Autumn immediately recognized two of them: one was the man she had bumped into yesterday, and the other was with him at the time. But she couldn’t figure out why they were here with four more men.

The broad-shouldered one spoke up. “You remember me?” he asked, looking directly at Autumn.

Jisu and Autumn were annoyed and still half-asleep.

“Did you come here just to ask that?” Jisu said, annoyed. The broad-shouldered man’s expression turned colder as he introduced himself.

“I am Kim Seokjin,” he said.

“So what?” Autumn replied, which seemed to anger one of the other men in the group.

“How dare you disrespect our hyung?” he asked, furious.

“He’s your hyung, not ours,” Autumn retorted, making the man angrier. He moved toward her, but she quickly grabbed a vase nearby and cracked it over his head. The other men were shocked and angry, as was Jisu.

“How dare you guys show up at our house uninvited?” Jisu asked. No one responded. Seokjin finally spoke up, anger evident in his voice.

“Let’s go for now. We’ll handle this later. Take Jimin to the hospital,” he said. With that, they left.

Autumn and Jisu cleaned up the mess and went back to their rooms to start their morning routines. Afterward, Jisu went downstairs to prepare breakfast. She made pancakes and scrambled eggs.

Autumn came down to help, then went to wake Jia and Daisy, who were still unaware of what had happened earlier.

Once everyone was at the dining table for breakfast, Autumn explained the events of the morning while they had been asleep.

“I’m going to the library to buy some new books. Anyone else have plans?” Autumn asked.

“I’m going to work out and go for a run,” Jisu replied.

“I’m going out for a short ride since you guys are heading out,” Jia said.

“I’ll come with eonnie, as I have nothing else to do,” Daisy said to Autumn.

They all went their separate ways, and Autumn called Misoo to let her know that everyone else was out. Misoo told her she’d be back later anyway.
