South Korea, 11 AM KST, Hyunseok Groups (Kim family business)
"Sir, Ms.Park is here" the second assistant spoke through the phone.
"Let her in" A few seconds later, Park Sungi walked into Kim SeokMin's office, with a small smile gracing her face.
"Good Morning, Honey" he stood up and gave her a hug, kissing her forehead before both of them sat on the couch.
"So what brings you here, this early?" He questioned.
"Are you not happy to see me?" She raised an eyebrow at him playfully.
"Of course I am darling, I'm very happy to see you. It's just that you don't come around until evenings, given your firm is really busy these days..." He pulled her a little closer.
"Well we are, but I was visiting a company nearby so thought to drop by, and I need to have a talk with you, it is something serious" her voice shifted from casual to serious.
"What is it?" He asked, straightening up a little.
"When are we making the kids meet? You have already proposed marriage and the kids haven't even properly met each other, I am worried if they don't get along." Her tone was stern.
"We can schedule it to two weeks at the latest, Twins are having semester break, they will be home soon." He replied.
"Can't the rest of the kids meet before?" She asked, slumping in her place.
"If we do that Twins will never get onboard with this marriage, they are stubborn and sensitive at the same time, I understand you want the family to meet, but I want everyone to meet at the same time so they don't feel left alone" he explained.
"Okay... there's a small party in 2 weeks, I can get the boys to come, and can we arrange for all of us to meet afterwards?" She suggested.
"Sure, that would be better, usually they don't want to leave home for a week after they get back" He knew that it would take a lot of convincing on his part and court level interrogation on his kids part.
"That will be the best; Are you free, we can go grab some brunch in the canteen, before I leave?" She changed the subject to a little date idea.
"I need to check this file, you can grab anything you want and mine a regular salad with a tea, and we can eat here" He improvised her idea.
"Sure thing, I'll be back in 15, love you honey." She gets up grabbing her purse, he gives her a hug and she leaves the office.
As she was walking out, she bumped into someone almost falling back.
"Oh my god!!" She exclaimed in shock.
"Omo! I am so very sorry Ms.Park, I didn't see you coming out of the office," The voice got her attention as she looked up to see Namjoon standing in front of her wearing a guilty look.
"Oh, Namjoon-ah, what are you doing here?" She asked;
"I am working as Director in the Finance department, it's been a week" Namjoon smiled at her politely.
"Oh, SeokMin didn't say anything about you joining, Glad to see you taking interest in business soon to be CEO" she smiled, but bit her tongue at the slip.
"CEO? Me? Appa didn't say anything about this to me" Namjoon was shocked, that would be an understatement.
"Oo-oh, sorry to ruin the surprise, I guess you should talk to your father about this, I am in a bit of hurry to explain," She replied carefully.
"Okay Miss Park, see you at the meeting next week" He bowed to her and she nodded before walking away.
Namjoon, still confused, knocked at the door, "come in" he stepped in at his father's voice.
"Dad, why am I going to be the CEO? It was supposed to be Jin hyung, Right?" Namjoon spoke as soon as he was in front of him.
"You know? Who told you?" He asked with a mild surprised look.
"Ms.Park," he answered as he sat down.
"Oh, I am considering you, it's true" He grabbed the folder in Namjoon's hand, and started to look in it.
"What about Hyung!" Namjoon exclaimed, "Does he know? I don't want this CEO post to cause a rift between us, Appa!"
"It won't, Seokjin never wanted to do this business, he will be the CEO of Hotel & Resorts Business, if his Restaurant works out, otherwise he is going to be Vice President, you were always the first choice for CEO, but now I am more positive than ever about it, I trust Seokjin to do his best in the field he likes, and he can still be Vice President of the Group" He explained calmly to his son.
"Then why did you always discourage hyung for his own business?" Namjoon voiced the obvious.
