Kim Family is all glittery and golden, but each member hides a different pain.

Life is ever changing, every human goes through ups and downs through the course of their life, now the question is what this marriage brings to the Kim and Park families, Ups? Downs? Or Roller-Coaster rides?
The supposedly small family event in the Kim family mansion was over, members have retired to their rooms, SeokMin and Sungi hung out in his bedrooms balcony overseeing the now empty venue of their vows, "I want the kids to move in with us", SeokMin spoke finishing his glass of wine, "Jungkook will of course, but the rest I can't say, especially Jimin and Yoongi, people might not know I am their mother but they would definitely want to avoid being seen around you in the public's eye, You know as well how people will react knowing you being their step father also the Vice President to the company they work for: Hoseok may or may not agree, he won't want Jungkook to be alone, nor would he want to leave Jimin and Yoongi." Sungi spoke, sitting down with a sigh.
"Twins will be gone for their final semester after this month ends, they are the only ones who will be able to help everyone adjust, Namjoon is very busy, and you know why, Jin is a whole different story" SeokMin sat down beside her;
"Speaking of Jin, I don't think he likes that girl, his fiance," Sungi pointed, turning towards SeokMin. "I know, even I don't approve of this engagement, but my hands are tied in front of Appa"
"So you are going to let him marry someone he despises?" She questioned, "No, that girl's father, his company is going in losses, Appa would break it off the moment he sees that this marriage won't benefit the company at all."
"You know it baffles me how for them it's all about the company, even more than their own flesh and blood." unbeknownst to both, this comment had made it to the ears of Grandpa Kim passing by their room.
Early in the morning, Grandpa Kim was having his tea in the garden, when Sungi had stepped out to have some fresh air, "Good Morning Mr. Kim." she greeted him, he nodded, "You have married my son now, you should address me as such, proper conduct is really important."
"siabeoji-nim , I thought you would not want me to call you that" Sungi spoke in a politer and softer tone than usual.
"Of course you will think that way, you think I have no care for my family" She was a bit shocked at his statement, "Sit down" he looked up at Sungi , who was still standing at a distance. Unsure she sat opposite to him, the furthest seat to him,
"Do you really view me as someone who cares only about a number and my company?" he asked Sungi after a moment of silence, "I'll be honest with you Siabeoji, I don't know much, but I do think that you put Hyunseok Groups above family, family is not an asset or investment for me." Sungi chooses to speak the truth rather than apples him with lies.
"You are a brave and honest woman, No one would have said those words to my face, Though I am still not sure of you as a member of our family, but I value family over Hyunseok Groups, especially my grandchildren," he stood up and walked away, leaving Sungi confused and thinking of this conversation all morning, until the time for breakfast arrived, Kim family was to leave for Seoul after the breakfast, while while Joo family was going to stay two days before joining them in Seoul for the grand reception. Everyone was already seated at the table, the breakfast went quite peacefully with grandma and grandpa Kim talking with their grandkids in short conversations.
"I have something to tell everyone" Grandpa Kim spoke after the breakfast was finished and everyone was chatting around the table.
"Ms. Lee, I have informed your father already, we have cancelled the engagement between you and my Grandson Seokjin" He spoke in a very calm manner, while Ms. Lee stood up from her chair with a shriek, "WHAT??!!" Seokjin was too stunned to speak but was relieved at the news. "Your driver is here to pick you up, as for the reason of cancellation , you can speak with your father" He said still sitting down, Honestly Taehee felt bad for this girl, no matter how much she had annoyed her, or been mean to her, nobody should be humiliated with such news and such lack of empathy.
Ms.Lee walked out, Taehee followed her, "Lee Semi-shi" she called her out from the front porch, as Ms. Lee turned around in tears. "Is there anything left to say ??" Her voice was sharp. Taehee walked down and handed her a handkerchief, "Semi-shi, I am sorry, I know it must be hard for you"
"Why are you showing fake sympathy? Huh? Aren't you happy that your brother finally got rid of me, I know your family hates me!" Taehee bit her lip, "I know, that we really didn't want you both to get married for company, but How grandpa announced it was totally not right, we are sorry"
Lee Semi looked at her for a few moments now calming down, "Your sorry won't change my ruined future Taehee, This was my my last chance to save my company" she started to walk away, "Semi-shi, you should talk to SeokJin oppa, he will listen", Taehee called out, making Ms. Lee Semi halted in her steps, without turning around she sat in her car and left.
