Preparing for a wedding in such a short notice turned out not to be a big problem for Kim family given the amount of servants they have to manage the house; the golf course was set beautifully for the small wedding, while the pavilion near the pond was set to be bridal room, as the mansion was almost 300 metres away from the actual golf course, there was not much to be decorated in the mansion, given the marriage was family only.

It was the evening before the wedding, they had a small rehearsal, and then the ladies, Su Ryeon, Seok-Kyung, Taehee and Sungi, went on a drive and shopping spree downtown.

"Su Ryeon, what do you think about this marriage?" Sungi asked Su Ryeon, who was now not only her sister-in-law, but her longtime business partner and friend, while the cousins were looking through some jewellery at their family store.

"Well, the timing makes me wonder if it's not solely for you both wanting to marry, I was told your's and SeokMin's kids only met...like 6 weeks ago?" She looked at Sungi, who sighs slowly, "You are not wrong, if not now, then we won't ever be able to tie the knot, given the company's position now and the kids.", " I understand, but haven't you tried to explain it to Eomma, Appa?", "They don't care, they are not even in the headspace to listen to anything", "It's alright, give them time, and you are getting hitched tomorrow, to my idiot brother!!! Let's celebrate!" Su Ryeon tried to lighten up the mood.

"Mom, Auntie, see this, I think you should give this to Grandma" Seok-Kyung waved at the two ladies, as she held a set of earrings in her hand. "Umm...but why?" Sungi asked, which received a shocked mixed with confused reaction from the rest three, "Don't tell me, that Appa didn't tell you about the traditional stuff!!" Taehee exclaimed; "Sungi dear, you have to give a piece of jewellery to your mother-in-law, this is a long running tradition in our family, even I gave some pieces to Dan-tae's eomma, and we are here for that shopping" Su Ryeon calmly explained to Sungi, "oh... okay, then we must look for something more elaborate, she already does not like me, at least this might make a good footing with her."

"Ajumma, It's okay, 1 year is all it takes, just the CEO situation sorts out, and they both will accept you, I am sure" Taehee held her hand with a small smile.

"Tat, What's this CEO situation?" Seok-Kyung pulled Taehee aside as they completed shopping and now are following behind Sungi and Su Ryeon, touring the mall at Anyang 1st Street. "They are considering making Namjoon oppa the CEO." "Isn't Jin oppa supposed to be the next heir, and who are they?"

"He is, but of the hotel and restaurant industry. He is clearly not interested in anything outside this kitchen and his hotel. All he cares for is his extraordinary-looking dishes and his cooking shows. The 'they' I am talking about is Appa, Grandpa, Sungi, your Appa, and maybe Joon and Jin oppa," Tahee explained. "Are you serious? What about the board? Namjoon has to be married, and he doesn't even have a fiancée!! At least Jin had a long-time fiancée; he is just yet to marry," Seok-Kyung questioned the most obvious problem that the Kims are having with Namjoon. "Yeah, same thing sis, he is not interested, and Appa had gotten this matchmaker company involved. He now has four options, and he keeps rejecting after blind dates, and Jin oppa's long-term, you know how she is; they might break up before they even start the wedding planning," Taehee ranted.

"That's a hot take, even I think two years of engagement is just to push the wedding off as long as they can." "That's exactly what it is, and it's not two. Almost three years now, and all he says is, 'At least I am engaged,' or 'We are not ready yet... blah, blah, blah...' All the time,Taehee acted out in Seokjin's tone.

"Who do you think is going to be the CEO?" Seok-Kyung questioned. "Namjoon. The board has no reason to object. He'll have a fiancée or wife by that time; pretty sure of that." "What if he does not?" Seok-Kyung paused. "He does not what?" Taehee turned to her. "He does not get married, duh!!"
