Kim Family is all glittery and golden, but each member hides a different pain.
Park Family is slightly different, the don't hide pain, the have overcome it.
In all the difference, They hold family above everything.
And now when both are getting tied...
The hiking was fun activity as both families have finally sat down to eat the breakfast in the picnic garden, which was usually silent as twins were finally tired of walking and speaking so much with Yoongi, Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok were talking slowly with the parents, Jungkook and Jimin were minding the eating business, because food is important.
"Where are the twins?" SeokMin asked as they all sat down in the cafe-cum-resturant outside the tennis court. It was after 3 hours of playing tennis in teams, the old guys were tired according to younglings.
"Yeah, Yoongi, where's Jungkook and Jimin?" Sungi asked as well, "those four are still having a match, Jungkook and Taehee are beating Taehyung and Jimin" Namjoon replied to both of them as Hoseok and Jin were discussing the menu, and Yoongi, he was resting his muscles after so much exercise.
"How much energy do these young people have?" Sungi asked as she looked outside to see Jungkook and Taehee jumping around, and teasing the other two, the cafe had a great view of the tennis court separated by a small walkway, you could clearly keep an eye on the kids.
"I wanna eat something, I don't have any energy to move even a finger" Jin said, which Namjoon instantly responded with, "Sure old man, here's your walking stick!" Which earned a slap from Jin and laughs from all the table.
After 30 minutes of them talking and placing the orders, having drinks, Yoongi was told to go get the kids, which in turn he had to drag Jungkook by arm, Twins followed him on will, SeokMin smiled to himself as he finally found someone the twins listen to willingly, whole while Jimin was already in before Yoongi can beat him.
"C'mon Yoongi hyung, think about your image before your fans" Jimin had said pointing towards the twins before running away.
"We don't care, we still love him!" Twins had both yelled back,Yoongi looked at them as Jungkook slapped his hand away and ran off into the cafe.
"You guys won't stalk me, would you?" he asked curiously, not accusing, more jokingly.
"Oh hell no! Well...I think of this as more of a fan meet this time, we'll adjust to you soon, like this is sudden for us too, you being our brother, I mean step brother" Taehyung explained as they walked beside him.
"Yup, but we will still be coming to your concerts, and you can always tell us off if we are disturbing you too much" TaeHee looked up at Yoongi with a smile popping her dimples.
"No you don't disturb me, and both of you are cute! I like you two, I am glad my fans are like you" Yoongi patted both their heads softly before they entered the cafe.
Everyone comfortably ate and interacted with each other, Jungkook, twins and Yoongi focusing on eating while the rest spoke about anything and everything; Yoongi and twins interacting every so often about music and now Yoongi had doubled down in asking the twins preferences, Taehee including Jungkook in short conversations, as the boy felt too shy in front of her.
It was almost 2:30 in the afternoon, everyone had just finished lunch, and for the second time the couple looked nervous.
"Everyone," SeokMin said, gaining attention at the table, "Nae Appa?" Namjoon responded, "As you guys know, Sungi and I are engaged, We will be going to your grandparents house in Anyang Gyeonggi for the weekend, to get there blessings before marriage, everyone needs to go"
"Jungkook have school, Yoongi hyung have schedules" Jimin said looking at them both, "I am good for the next weekend, I have a break for two weeks" Yoongi replied leaned back, "Jungkook can go to school on Tuesday, that's fine," Sungi said for Jungkook who nodded, happy for 2 days extra off from school.
"We are fine, It's been quite a while since we have visited Halmoni, anyways" Taehyung replied when SeokMin looked over to the Kim siblings.
"Okay that's fine with everyone, I think" Sungi looked at her kids then at the Kims. "Just wondering, after coming back from Halmoni's home, are you guys getting married soon?" Taehee asked, to which Sungi looked towards SeokMin, as they both exchanged looks before nervously nodding.
"I understand that this is all so quick for you kids, meeting and then suddenly marriage, but we don't have option to hold it off any longer, if we marry next year it will hinder Namjoon's or SeokJin's position as CEO, also everyone will think that we are marrying for ulterior motives" Sungi explained to which Taehee looked at her father before looking down, she had already accused the couple in question before anyone else could, she knows how real it can get when they actually get married in near future.
"You are right, it can definitely happen, we should start preparing right after we come from Gyeonggi" Seokjin said as he looked over he left towards his sister who was now feeling guilty all over again.
