-2- Tokio Drift

Suddenly, we hear some car honks and a green car approaching. I peer my head to take a better look, and see Ann sitting in the front next to Tatta.

Fucks sake. I'm never getting rid of that one am I?

"Get in!" He yells as he inspects where the King of Spades is. It clear he's afraid, so I have to give him that he still tries to safe us.

"Tatta!" I hear Arisu exclaim thankfully.

"Don't just stand there!" Ann sneers annoyed.

"Ann!" Kuina and I call out at the same time.

bang bang bang

"Now!" She yells and opens the back door. Usagi is the first to jump into motion and runs straight into the car.

Arisu jumps in after her, followed by Kuina. She then pulls me after her and as I sit on Kuinas lap I turn to look for Chishiya. He again runs with his hands in his pants.

"Put them hands out!" I yell at him, "Run Chishiya!"

As he stumbles to us, a small grenade rolls right in front of the open door Kuina and I sit at.

Chishiya halts and stares at me, "Fuck it," he says and turns to Ann, yelling "Go!" 

Without another second to spare, Tatta floors the gas pedal and the car speeds ahead so fast the the door slams close on it's own. I'm pushed hard into Kuina and turn around to search for him.

"Chishiya!" I yell desperately as I see him throwing himself behind another car, just before the grenade explodes.

Tatta speeds off, swerving other cars as he escapes the rearing gunshots.

"We—We need to turn around!" I desperately call out for the others, "Please! We can't leave Chishiya!"

"We lost him!" Tatta exclaims relieved, "The King of Spades is gone!"

"Then turn around so we can get Chishiya!" I frustratedly yell at him, and feel Kuinas arms wrap around me.

"Tatta!"

"No!" He yells back.

"He's right Yuki." Ann explains calmly, "We need to get out of here."

"No we need to turn around." I insist panicked, "Please turn around Tatta!
Kuina say something!"

Kuina quietly dazes afar, and I huff loudly, "I can't believe you guys."

The car is silent for a few moments, before Kuina gently squeezes my waist. "You think Chishiya is okay?" She dazedly asks.

"Sure. He can take care of himself." Arisu tries to reassure us. "Yuki he will be fine."

"But—"

"He will be fine." He says again.

After a few deep breaths I calm down again. "What the fuck. What kind of game is this shit?!"

"No rules." Kuina continues, "I mean, we didn't even register."

"And we win if we escape or what?" Usagi asks us all.

"—And how many are there?" Kuina continues.

"There's just the one." Arisu remarks, "I think there's only one King of Spades."

"He must be the boss of the physical challenges then." Tatta adds.
