I sat there admiring his features, deep in my thoughts.

I messed up real bad, but a d least that.

"Jay" I called out and he only turned to glare at me.

I lied to him about the reason I kept the pregnancy away from him and now he found out the real reason.

I got up and went to our walk-in closet, taking out a black sweatpants along with a black long sleeved crop top.

Not even going to hide my bump.

I had already taken a shower and my hair was done recently.

I changed my clothes and stormed out of the closet taking up the car keys.

Placing my bag in the passenger seat, I got it in the driver's seat starting the car.

"Boss seh mi nuh fi let yuh out eno" Alex, the security told me and I rolled my eyes.

Using the car's bluetooth system to call him, he answered when it was about to hang up.

Spiteful.

"Yuh can let me out please?" I asked him feigning sadness, just so he could do it.

"Weh yah guh?" He asked me and I told him I was just going for a drive.

"Wicked bombowul" I heard him mumble, before the gate opened and the call was hung up before I could say anything.

A message came in on my phone from him and I smiled while opening it.

Another notification came in showing that he sent money to my account, I rolled my eyes.

Ignoring his message and swiping of the notification, I drove out of the complex and made my way to Popeyes.

Looking through my mirror, as I drove on the main road I realized that there was a car following me.

I redialed Jay's number, so I could feel a little safe.

But the call went straight to voicemail.

I tried him again, but there was no answer.

Ignoring the car behind me, I pressed gas exceeding the speed limit.

Turning into Popeyes, I parked the car and got out.

Seeing one of Jay's ex's eyeing me up and down, I shook my head laughing at her.

To my surprise Popeyes was empty.

"Can get a Spicy chicken sandwich, a 5 piece combo......" I continued my order, tapping my nails amongst the counter.

I have a bad feeling something is going to happen.

I collected my receipt and shortly after my food, going back to the car.

As I powered up the car, I placed the food down allowing the AC to cool down the car since it was parked in the sun.

Why would you park the car in the sun?

I'm not sure.

Seeing his ex approaching the car, I winded the windows down to make it easier for her.

Remember that you're pregnant.

"A you and Juju innah tingz?" She asked me, with a lot of attitude.

I chuckled lowly and shook my head, telling her no.

When the car was cooled down, I started it up and drove off heading home.

He looked back at me and smiled and I just rolled my eyes going upstairs.

I closed the door to the room and went straight in the bathroom.

"Dat we a do now?" he asked on the other side of the door.

"Weh yaw' talk 'bout?" I asked him genuinely confused, but he ignored my question.

Nah guh do dah toxicity shit with him. Swear.

Storming out of the bathroom, heading to the bedroom I looked at him.

"If you want to be toxic, let me know so I can leave from now" I said calmly not wanting to start an argument.

He chuckled sinisterly and shook his head, looking up at me.

We had an intense staring competition before he smiled and I smiled back, but what he said next wiped it off my face immediately.

"Yuh free eno"
