CHAPTER 11

"Pete I think I made a mistake" Arm approached him saying he had something urgent to talk about. Pete was already stressed and didn't want to deal with anyone else's problems but he couldn't let his friend suffer alone. Little did he know that he was the one who was going to suffer the consequences once again.

"What happened?" Pete sat down on his own bed, next to his friend. He led him to his room because it was the safest place in the house to talk about anything.

"I found something I shouldn't have and, while I was looking into it Chan saw me" Arm confessed, he couldn't look Pete in the eyes.

"What's this about? I'm sure it won't be a big deal" he tried to reassure his friend but had a really bad feeling about it.

"The thing is, I found a phone in your room. I wanted to ask you about it but you were not here so I took it with me and..."

"What? Fuck!" Pete felt the air missing from his lungs, one thing was wondering if Korn had access to his phone, and the other was being sure.

"Pete, what the hell was hidden there?"

"It doesn't matter"

"I saw the messages, who's that? There was nothing suspicious, actually, there was nothing at all, but those"

"My boyfriend" Pete confessed, it was still strange to say and he should feel the flutter he did, especially not in these circumstances but he couldn't help it.

"Oh... I'm sure they'll understand if you explain how things were. It's not a crime to have a partner... and also I didn't know you liked men"

"I didn't know either before him. And no, they won't understand, it's indeed a crime" Pete didn't feel like explaining the whole situation to Arm, it would be like Porsche all over again and he wasn't in the right mind to have another argument.

"Pete... Korn is very understanding"

"I know but I messed up big time"

"How big?"

"Might be killed for treason"

"What the hell did you do? It can't be just about this man"

"It can. It's Vegas"

"What the fuck are you thinking? Khun Vegas? With all the men that exist you decide to fuck Khun Vegas?"

"It's not like I planned it, you know... it just happened"

"Pete you should have told me, I could have helped you instead of putting you at risk"

"You would have tried to talk me out of it"

"True but for good reasons. Who in their right mind dates Khun Vegas?"

"Well..."

"I meant that he isn't boyfriend material, a big red flag actually. How did you even fall for him?"

"As I said it just happened, when I noticed it was too late"

"But what if Vegas is just using you? Knowing you have a crush on him?"

"He wouldn't, trust me on this okay?"

"I read those messages, Khun Vegas seems intense"

"He is but he's nice and caring with the ones he loves"

"I would have never thought I would hear those words directed to Khun Vegas"

"Yeah... I need to head back" he didn't want to talk about this anymore. He needed to talk to Vegas though but he couldn't now, he would do it when his shift ended so that he wouldn't have to rush it.
