Before I get into any other information, I want to explain to you the different species and their strengths and weaknesses. This could be crucial when writing a book for many different reasons. For instance, Lycans and werewolves. These are two entirely different species.

Let me explain why by giving more information on the different species and what they are:

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

LYCANS

-They also have extremely strong affliction levels.
- They have an average height of 5-7 feet in full wolf form. (Not upright, but can be when only half transformed)
- Some Lycans have no sense of territory, while others do. Those that don't have sense of territory can attack unprevoked.
- Silver doesn't kill them like it does others, but it does weaken them.
- They can regenerate limbs and heal quickly.
- Can shift anytime
- Cannot have pups with fellow species. Must be with other werewolves or human. (Though, it can be dangerous for the human body to bear their pups)

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

PRIMORDIAL

- Second strongest among werewolves, just beneath Lycans.
- Are aggressive, extremely powerful and very intelligent.
- Some can be vengeful and cruel, others honourable and human.
- In wolf form, they look like a Timber wolf but much larger and taller than the average human male.

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

ANTHROMORPH

-The have the strongest affliction levels. (affliction= pain, suffering, distress or agony)
- They have an average hight of 7-11 feet in their form
-  They are territorial and attack others much less than other variants.
- Their human form is incredibly strong.
- They can regenerate damaged limbs, nothing more.
- Walks upright when half transformed, familiar to a feramporph.

- Can shift anytime into full transformation.

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

FERAMORPH

- They are the most common werewolves.
- They have an average height of 6-8 feet (Upright posture)
- They have sense of territory, but can be unrelentingly aggressive.
- They cannot regenerate limbs, but wounds can heal and bones can snap back into place and have incredibly fast healing, just like Lycans.
- Only shifts on full moons.

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

HALFBREEDS

- These werewolves are born when a human and a werewolf mate.
- They have no wolf and only transform halfway (like Scott McCall)
- Most of the times, they would be bitten by other werewolf Alphas that can fully transform.

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

Lycans are, in conclusion, the strongest proven. They were the very first werewolves existing and are usually royals and more wealthy than others. Other werewolf species treat them with respect and fear them all-the-same because of their incredible abilities and strength. Though, Lycan's populations are very small due to the inability to produce offsprings with with one another and needing other species to bear their pups. Other species, on the other hand, can have pups with one another.

There could also possibly be more species, but these are those I know of. To explain them in easier words, Teen Wolf is a good example of a few species.

- Scott McCall is a Halfbreed.
- Derek Hale is a Anthromorph.
-Peter Hale is a Feramorph.

Then for the Twilight fans:

- Jacob Black is a Primordial.

And I found some movie examples with Lycans, but not many:

- Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. (horror film): Lucian is a Lycan.

Now that we know the species, we can now try to determine in which birth group they belong. I will give an example later on. (Keep in mind, there are only 3 types.)

1. HOMID

- The Homid werewolf was born human, which is exactly what it's name means . (Human-born)
- They are the werewolves that get their wolf form at 18.
- Either they are born with werewolf parents, or had to be bitten.
- Most of them can't transform into full form.

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

2. LUPUS

- They were all born in wolf form. (Wolf-born)
- After reaching 3-5 months, they turn into their human form.
- Some of these werewolves have their wolf at an earlier age and can transform at such young age because of being born in their wolf form. (This type of birth will be explained more detailed, later)

✧༝┉˚*❋ ❋*˚┉༝✧

3. METIS

- (Crinos-born)
- Crinos= War form of some Fera.
- This type of werewolf puts the deadliest aspects of human and wolf into 1 body.
- Their purpose in life is to kill all enemies and shred them into pieces.

They can be identified in these ways:
- Gigantic fangs and horrific claws
- Long, powerful arms
- Thick skin and bones
- Heavy fur
- Large wolf tail for balance and body language
- Awful mouth can barely speak human words
- Thus, they can speak the Garou tongue
