All There Is To Know About Werewolves

💞MATES💞

Mates are the most important factor to the werewolves and the entire pack. It is a phenomenal stage in a werewolf's life. Mates are chosen by the Moon Goddess or - others believe- Apollo, the Greek God of wolves and knowledge.

REJECTION:

- "I, (Rank) (Name), reject you, (Name), as my mate."
- "I, (Rank) (Name), accept your rejection."

Rejection is a painful thing to go through. Unlike humans, this phase can effect both ex mates in mentally and physically. Though this does not occur often , because it is such an important thing to happen to one since it's hard to find your mate.

Rejecting your mate is considered, almost, a crime to every werewolf. It is the cruelest thing one could ever do.

EFFECTS OF IT:
- If the wolf is weak, it could kill them due to the immense pain they would be feeling.
- If the rejected wolf doesn't accept the rejection, they will continue to feel pain. Especially when the other is having intercourse with another.
- The rejected could loose their wolf for a while.

- Mates can be found between ages 16-18. This all depends on when the wolf's first shift happens. After their first shift, their abilities will heighten and they will get their wolf (if they have one), which then leads them to their mate if they are in close proximity.
- The mate's scent is stronger and more addictive than other's.
- When the pair touches, they feel sparks of electricity shooting through them.

MARKING:

- To mark you mate means to ward off anyone that tries to take your mate by claiming them a yours. Both male and female can do this by sinking their teeth into the other's nape of their neck.
- This will cause their scent to be embedded on the other's without fully ridding of their original scent.
- When this action is completed, their emotions for each other will deepen and they will feel each other's strongest emotions.

- This ties the pair together. There is no going back once this is done.
- It is painful but pleasurable after a while.
- Warns away other wolves.
- The size of the mark determines the power and strength of the mate.
- It can trigger pleasure if the mate is to touch the mark or, the wolf, themselves.

BOND:

- The mate bond is extremely powerful. Once they find each other, it is har to stay away and complete the mating process once they have marked each other. This bond is in fact so powerful, that if the mate is to die, the remaining person could also die. (Which also adds up to the immense pain when they are rejected and possible death of the wolf, person)
- The bond brings two - (rarely more) - wolves together in each and every way. It is extremely hard to resist their mate.

PROCESS OF FINDING THEIR MATE:

- Through scent. (No one else can smell this)
- Through touch. (It is pleasurable and makes them lean into each other)
- Through eye contact. (The person will seem recognizable/ eye contact will be hard to break)
- Through their voice. (It sounds irresistible and like an angel. "It sends triangles down her spine")

WHEN THEIR MATE IS FOUND:

- The pair will decide whether they want to spend their lives with one another or not by, either, accepting or rejecting one another. If they do decide to accept one another and go further, they will mark each other and soon complete the mating process.
- If they decided to reject the mate or can't wait any longer and want someone else, they can choose a mate and complete the process with them if the other accpepts:

- "I, (Rank) (Name), choose you, (Rank) (Name), to be my mate.)
- "I, (Rank) (Name), accept you, (Rank) (Name), as my chosen mate."

WHAT THEY NOTICE OF EACH OTHER THAT OTHERS DON'T:

- Facial feautures.
- Body type.
- Scent.
- Touch.
- Small details like moles on each other's bodies and where exactly.
- Small and unnoticeable hobbies like picking at nails.

SIGNS THAT THEY FOUND THEIR MATE:

- They are unusually distracted/ easily distracted.
- They seem to always be daydreaming about something.
- Smiles constantly without any reason.
- Is constantly worried about their mate.
- Constant sniffing to sniff out their mate or to detect if they are close-by or somewhere else.

MATING PROCESS:

- This can be done in many ways. Originally, there is a process you have to follow, but some decide to leave the process out (I did this once) and go directly into competing the process. Now this can either be done step-by-step, as said before, or by choosing one, singular part of the following ways to complete the process:

1. Verbally accepting their mate.
2. Marking one another/ being marked.

3. Kissing.
4. Confessing feelings to one another.
5. Mating (sexual intercourse)

If it is to be done in step-by-step form, this will be the order:

1. Verbally accepting/ confessing feelings.
2. Marking each other.
3. Mating.

MATING:

- This gives the pair an intense wave of pleasure if they are true mates.
- This process completely seals the bond.
- This can get he female pregnant if it is done with their true mate.
- After this, the pair can now read each other's thoughts just like the Beta and Alpha can to each other.

- If this is one with a chosen mate or someone else, the chances of having a pup together will be rare, but still possible unlike with Lycans.
