As sharp sunlight shone through the thin curtains poorly hanging over his window, Jimin felt his eyelids fluttering open. He let out a groan as he rolled onto his side, body engulfed in his white duvet. As he struggled to keep his eyes open, a notification sound from his phone caused him to flinch, and he sat up with a jolt.

His barely legs met the slight breeze in his room - he must've left his window open. He tugged at his shorts, attempting to cover most of his thighs to prevent them from getting colder. He turned his attention to his phone on the nightstand, leaning over to grab it.

He turned it on to see who had texted him, surprised to see a text from Yoongi asking if he was okay. He placed his finger in the fingerprint, leading him to the open chat he had with Yoongi.

Why did Yoongi ask him that? A wave of panic suddenly washed over him, and he dragged his finger to the call button. Within a matter of seconds, Yoongi picked up and Jimin heard his deep, groggy voice, "Hello?"

"Why did you ask if I was okay?" he said bluntly. It took a while before Yoongi responded, "I was worried... you ran off so suddenly yesterday..." his voice sounded shy and uncertain. Jimin let out a sigh, "I'm sorry about that... I had something to take care off."

"Okay, that's good to know. I was scared I had done something to make you leave." Jimin felt a pang of guilt in his stomach; he didn't know Yoongi felt that way. "Oh... well, you didn't. I'm sorry you thought that."

Their conversation fell silent as Jimin sat and fidgeted with his fingers. "I guess I'll hang up then." Jimin finally spoke. "Okay." Was all Yoongi said before Jimin could hang up. Jimin let out a sigh as he threw his phone onto the mattress behind him, stretching his arms out as he forced his body up.

The first thing Jimin did was walk over to his window and pull away the curtains with harsh force, leaning over to shut the window tightly, relieved once he felt the harsh breeze stop coming through the crevice.

He should probably take a shower, he told himself. As Jimin reached his bathroom, he immediately locked his gaze on the large mirror above the sink; the glass was slightly greasy. It had been a while since he last thoroughly cleaned his apartment, maybe he should do that today since he had no plans.

As Jimin pulled his T-shirt over his head, he couldn't help but stare at his bare torso in the mirror. As his gaze trailed down to his stomach, he frowned, asking himself; had he gained weight? As much as he hoped he hadn't, he didn't want to figure it out by seeing the number on the scale.

Jimin snapped his head away from the mirror, beginning to feel sick of looking at his body. He slid his pants down his legs before making his way inside the shower, turning on the water. He didn't make it too hot - usually when he showered with warm water, it would raise his blood pressure and he'd get dizzy.

The water felt uncomfortable as it splashed onto his bare skin - feeling hard and rough. He just wanted to clean himself and then get straight out of the shower.

As Jimin attempted to run shampoo through his hair, he felt his fingers getting stuck between knots in the brittle strands, barely managing to get the soap through. "Holy shit." He cursed under his breath as he stood and stared as at his hands, foaming shampoo getting washed off as the water splashed onto his palms, revealing tiny clumps of his black hair sticking to his wet skin.

It wasn't the first time his hair had fallen out. It had gradually gotten thinner over time - strands easier to pull out. While he was nowhere near bald, and still had somewhat thick hair, but it wasn't as healthy and dense as it had once been.

Jimin's thoughts trailed to Yoongi and their lunch together yesterday - he felt bad for running off so early, but he had no other choice, he felt. He got butterflies in his stomach as he thought back to Yoongi's performance yesterday - the sudden lift in soul that happened midway through the performance. There was something special about the way Yoongi played, and Jimin couldn't put his finger on what exactly. But he liked it.
