Yoongi was nervous, to say the least. He was sitting there, shaking as he waited for a response from Jimin - if he was even going to get one.

Maybe he shouldn’t have asked him out on a date – was he trying to escalate things too fast? Was he pressuring Jimin into eating?

As his thoughts were beginning to get the best of him, his phone dinged, and a response from Jimin showed - a response that sent a huge wave of relief through Yoongi’s body.

He was going on a date with Jimin tonight. He hoped Jimin didn’t feel pressured – that he genuinely wanted, and he hoped he wasn’t moving too quickly. He wanted Jimin to be comfortable and he wanted their relationship to move at a rate that was suitable for him.

The day passed too fast for Yoongi – he had spent the entire day being nervous, trying to plan how the date would play out. He hoped it wouldn’t be a disaster, the last thing he wanted was for Jimin to run off and puke.

Yoongi dressed better than usual – his best flannel over a black T-shirt, tucked in black dress pants decorated with a belt.

He had combed his hair – his mullet lay flat against his neck and his hair was parted by the middle, naturally curving over his eyes

His skin was clear and moisturized – he looked presentable, didn’t he? He hoped he wasn’t overdoing it – it was a date, after all, a real date. His first date since High School.

Yoongi got ready to leave – the weather was chilly, but not chilly enough for him to carry a jacket. He stuffed his necessities in his pocket and braced himself for the date.

The sun was setting – it was nearly eight in the evening, and the sky was painted beautiful colors, the sharp sun hanging low in the sky. The mist earlier that day had cleared, exposing the beautiful city he happened to live in. Yoongi liked the area – it was ideal for him, aesthetically pleasing to his eyes.

Upon reaching the restaurant, Yoongi was surprised to see Jimin there already. He was rather dressed up as well – beautifully so. One side of his hair was gently tucked behind his ear, the other half hanging over his forehead, and his face was decorated with a layer of make-up.

Yoongi noticed Jimin wore quite a bit of make-up – he did as well, mostly to give his lips or pale face a little bit of color. Though, Jimin wore a bit more, quite visibly. It suited his face well - his androgynous features, more specifically.

The younger man was dressed in a blue cardigan over a white T-shirt, paired with blue jeans. Yoongi walked up with a smile, “Jimin-ah!” Jimin flinched, turning his head, shocked gaze turning to a warm one once he laid his eyes on Yoongi.

“Hey, hyung,” He greeted, walking up to his side. “Jimin-ah,” Yoongi spoke firmly, “Can I talk to you for a second?” Jimin nodded, eyes perked as he waited for Yoongi to speak up.

“Are we moving things too fast? Do you want to slow down?” Jimin gave him a small smile, shaking his head, ”I like the rate we’re going at.” Yoongi nodded, letting out a deep breath.

“Come on,” He lightly tugged at Jimin’s wrist, urging the younger man to follow him. Inside the restaurant, they were hit with warm air and a pleasant atmosphere.

Yoongi had reserved a table earlier that day, so he made his way up to the reception. Once they were at their table with two menus placed in front of them, Yoongi turned nervous again. Would Jimin eat?

“So, Jimin-ah,” He started, ”Do you think you can eat?” Jimin nodded, confused as he looked at him, “Without puking?” Jimin got silent, not moving as he looked down.
